THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 147. THE PORTFOLIO OF INVISIBLE ASSETS

Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries

The secret of the mystery, Part 147. The portfolio of invisible assets.

Wednesday, September 6, 2006

A. The baptism of the Spirit and its results.
B. The unique pre-designed plan of God taking its precedence from the dispensation of the Hypostatic union.

C. The unique equality factor of the Church age manifested by the calling of God, election, and predestination.
D. Our very own portfolio of invisible assets, prepared for us by God the Father in eternity past.

The Doctrine Of The Portfolio Of Invisible Assets.
Point 1. Definition.

“Portfolio” - originated in English from the flat portable case/briefcase used for carrying documents by ministers of state, etc; now used for the securities held by an investor or commercial paper held by a bank or mortgage company.

“Portfolio investment” has come to denote investment by the purchase of securities in contrast to direct investment.

We will use the word “portfolio” for the work of God on behalf of the believer in eternity past: the securities and the invisible assets which God the Father has provided for each member of the Royal Family of God before creation.

Before these assets are usable, they must be understood.

God the Father found the way for His justice to provide perfect fantastic blessing to His righteousness in us without any compromise of His essence.

In your portfolio of invisible assets God provided everything necessary for the function in life, dying, eternity, growing in grace, and the execution and fulfillment of the PPOG.

God has not only prepared beforehand “good works” for us to walk in, but He also has provided us with the assets and ability to perform these good works.

Workmanship - noun poiema = the achievement and work of God, something that God has created.

The very existence of escrow blessings implies the conditions for the transfer of those greater blessings from their present place of deposit in Christ to us, from the escrow officer to the grantee.

A. The assets are invisible; which means that we can only come to know that these assets exist by the metabolization of doctrine.
B. These assets are usable in any category of life.

Point 2. The grace principle of the portfolio of invisible assets.

On the cross, our Lord Jesus Christ “finished” His work of salvation (tetelestai).

Perfect tense - teleo = salvation was finished in the past with the result that it stands finished forever, JOH 19:30.

EPH 2:8-9 “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.”

COL 2:6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,

All you can do is to multiply the assets in your portfolio of invisible assets by making right decisions which are non-meritorious.

No human works from mankind can be added to the saving work of Christ on the cross just like no human works from mankind can be added to the Christian way of life.

TIT 3:5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

Grace is both the policy of God and the work of God on our behalf totally apart from any human ability or merit.

Once you start thinking of yourself as a person who has eternal life, then you will start thinking of yourself as a person in terms of your portfolio of invisible assets.

Your portfolio is so important, for it is completely encompassed in a policy called grace and in all the grace works of God.

THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 148. THE GRACE PRINCIPLE OF THE PORTFOLIO OF INVISIBLE ASSETS

The secret of the mystery, Part 148. The grace principle of the portfolio of invisible assets.

Thursday, September 7, 2006

Our very own portfolio of invisible assets, prepared for us by God the Father in eternity past.

“Portfolio” is used for the work of God on behalf of the believer in eternity past referring to the securities and the invisible assets which God the Father has provided for each member of the Royal Family of God before creation.

God the Father found a way for His justice to provide perfect fantastic blessing to His righteousness in us without any compromise of His essence.

In your portfolio of invisible assets God provided everything necessary for the function in life, dying, eternity, growing in grace, and the execution and fulfillment of the PPOG.

Point 2. The grace principle of the portfolio of invisible assets.

On the cross, our Lord Jesus Christ “finished” His work of salvation when He said “tetelestai” = salvation was finished in the past with the result that it stands finished forever, JOH 19:30.

Grace is both the policy of God and the work of God on our behalf totally apart from any human ability or merit.

Once you start thinking of yourself as a person who has eternal life, then you will start thinking of yourself as a person who also has a portfolio of invisible assets.

Our Lord used this passage to indicate a stronger tie between God and man than between friend and friend.

They teach that God is like the man upstairs with his children sleeping.

They confuse the throne of grace and make God’s throne a place where we must “persuade” Him.

The most outstanding enemy in prayer is the lack of knowledge of what we are in Christ, and of what He is in us, and understanding our portfolio of invisible assets.

I ask bread for myself and then I seek blessings for others.

LUK 11:5-8 = because he was seeking for someone else and did not stop seeking for someone else, the man who was resting came down to give him bread.

Knocking = a specific door we want God to open up.
COL 4:3 “Praying at the same time for us as well, that God may open up to us a door for the word.”

LUK 11:9 = if I ask, I’ll get an answer from heaven.
If I seek, I’ll get exactly what is best for those I’m seeking for.
If I knock, the door will take me into the place where I should be.

JAM 4:2 “You do not have because you do not ask.”

It is the very essence of prayer to ask, and answers are the rewards of those who do
HEB 11:6 “He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.”

Those “good things” are in two categories:
1. Necessities such as bread
2. Luxuries such as fish

Your portfolio is so important, for it is completely encompassed in a policy called grace and in all the grace works of God.

While not recorded in the Scripture, and probably not said as such except logically, God the Father in eternity past made His declaration of tetelestai.

When does the Holy Spirit say tetelestai?
At the end of time when His work is finished.

Regarding the Church, His work is finished at the Rapture of the Church.

The fact that the work of the Christian way of life was accomplished by God in eternity past is not only a matter of grace, but it is the basis for the fact that each one of us as a believer has his very own portfolio of invisible assets.

Each member of the godhead has certain responsibilities related to the function and policy of grace.
Each member of the godhead performs certain works which are grace: we do not earn or deserve or work for them.

No human works from mankind can be added to the saving work of Christ on the cross.
No human works from mankind can be added to the Christian way of life after salvation as well.

God the Father not only provided fantastic blessings for every believer, but He also has provided the means to receive these blessings as well.

1TH 5:24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
JOB 23:14 “For He performs what is appointed for me, and many such decrees are with Him.”

PHI 2:13 “For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.”
PSA 138:8 The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Thy lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Thy hands.

PHI 1:6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

It is the utilization of your invisible assets which is the basis for you receiving your escrow blessings for time and eternity.

THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 149. MOSES' USE OF HIS PORTFOLIO OF INVISIBLE ASSETS

Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries

The secret of the mystery, Part 149. Moses' use of his portfolio of invisible assets.

Friday, September 8, 2006

Point 3. Moses’ use of his portfolio of invisible assets.

In verse 2, Moses is said to be faithful to the Lord Who had appointed him. In verse 4, Moses was faithful in all his house even as a servant.

HEB 11:27 By means of doctrine [pistis], he [Prince Moses] forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king[Thutmose III], he persevered; he saw the invisible [assets].

Moses made a decision for God by which he gave up the greatest wealth, prosperity, human influence, and romance, all at one time.

He departed from the Egyptian court, spent forty years in the desert, after which he returned to bring out the Jews from slavery and to do one of the greatest jobs of leadership in all of human history.

In living, Moses was not afraid of anyone or anything.
In dying, Moses was not afraid; living and dying go together.

Moses was one of the three greatest geniuses in history (the other two being Paul and Gaius Julius Caesar).

His areas of genius included engineering, music, military, administration.

He had prepared the 18th dynasty to become the greatest of all the empires of Egypt.

But the time came when he discovered his Jewish heritage and personally accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior (who was about to become the God of Israel).

In undeserved suffering: forty years in the desert where he completed both momentum testing and evidence testing.

Moses didn’t “see Him who was invisible;” he “saw the invisible.”

Ton [the] gar [for] araton [invisible] hos [as] horon [seeing] = as seeing the invisible (noun is in the neuter, not in the masculine).

Point 4. Three attributes of God are the ultimate source of our portfolio of invisible assets: sovereignty, love, and omniscience.

The sovereignty of God is His eternal, infinite, and perfect divine volition.

The sovereignty of God is His eternal and infinite will expressed in the divine decrees, manifest in the comprehensive divine interpretation of history called dispensations, and the unique plan regarding the Church-age.

EPH 1:11 “In Whom also we have received an allotment [escrow blessings], having been predestined for a predetermined plan from Him.”

The sovereignty of God made a decision to create a counterpart to His sovereignty, a free will in every person for function during human history as a part of the angelic conflict.

Along with the sovereignty of God, His divine love is related to our invisible assets and predestination.

God is sovereign; therefore, His love is self-motivating and totally compatible with His divine essence. God is infinite and eternal; His love is infinite and eternal. God is holy; therefore, His love possess perfect integrity and perfect virtue, for its source is His justice and righteousness.

When it is directed toward His own perfect virtue and perfect righteousness, it becomes the pattern for our spiritual self-esteem.

When it is directed toward the perfect virtue of God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, it is perfect personal love.

It is concluded that divine love is not sustained by rapport or merit or attractiveness.

Human worthiness is not the basis for divine love, just as human merit is not the basis for eternal salvation.

A) Personal. The object of God’s personal love is perfect righteousness, both toward the other members of the godhead, and toward all believers to whom He imputes His perfect righteousness.

B) Spiritual self-esteem is His love directed toward His own perfect righteousness.

C) Impersonal. Impersonal love is reserved for creatures after they fail.

DEU 10:17 “For the Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality, nor take a bribe.”

JOB 34:19 God shows no partiality to princes, Nor regards the rich above the poor, For they all are the work of His hands?

Omniscience means that God knows perfectly, eternally, and simultaneously all that is knowable whether it is actual or possible.

Since God is sovereign, His knowledge about creatures is superior and in control at all times.

God is infinite and has infinite knowledge. God is eternal and has eternal knowledge. God is truth and His knowledge is totally and perfectly accurate.

The omniscience of God knows all the facts about every person in human history; this includes each one of us.

In knowing all about us, God still provided for each one of us a portfolio of invisible assets, resulting in our equal privilege and equal opportunity in this unique dispensation.

Three attributes of God are the source of our portfolio of invisible assets: sovereignty, love, and omniscience

THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 150. THE PORTFOLIO OF INVISIBLE ASSETS FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF THE BELIEVER'S EXPERIENCE. 1CO 2:9; 1CO 3:18-23; COL 2:1-3; MAT 6:19-21

The secret of the mystery, Part 150. The portfolio of invisible assets from the viewpoint of the believer’s experience.

Sunday, September 10, 2006

Our very own portfolio of invisible assets, prepared for us by God the Father in eternity past.

Point 1. Definition.
“Portfolio” – originated in the English language referring to the flat portable case or briefcase used for carrying documents, securities, or investments.
It also refers to a briefcase in which a person’s investments are legally stored.

In our study it refers to the gifts and works of God for the believer designed from eternity past.

COL 2:2 that their own hearts might be encouraged [ie. stabilized by doctrine], having been taught by means of love, which is the filling of the Spirit and a relaxed mental attitude – resulting in all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding or from the source of technical knowledge resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is about Christ Himself.

ISA 30:18 Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.

In TLJC are all the true authentic treasuries and the great deposits of life.

You can choose fun and pleasure and stimuli in the cosmic system which will be followed by tomorrow’s misery or you can choose the treasures which are stored up in Christ.

PRO 8:18 “Riches and honor are with me, Enduring wealth and righteousness.”

You can purchase certain securities which in turn can be used for divine investment.

EPH 5:16 purchasing your time, because the days are evil.

“Portfolio of invisible assets” = the work of God on behalf of the believer in eternity past and the invisible assets which God the Father has provided for each member of the Royal Family of God before creation.
Before these assets are usable, they must be understood.

In your portfolio of invisible assets God provided everything necessary for the function in life, dying, eternity, growing in grace, and the execution and fulfillment of the PPOG.

A. The assets are invisible; we can only come to know that these assets exist by the metabolization of doctrine.
B. These assets are usable in any category of life.

Point 2. The grace principle of the portfolio of invisible assets.

Each member of the godhead has certain responsibilities related to our portfolio of invisible assets.
Each member of the godhead performs certain works by means of grace – we don’t earn or deserve or work for them.

God the Father finished His work for us in eternity past by providing a fantastic plan for all of us, EPH 1:4-5.
God the Son finished the work of salvation for us on the cross, JOH 19:30.
God the Holy Spirit will finish His work for us by conforming us to TLJC, PHI 2:13.

1TH 5:24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
JOB 23:14 “For He performs what is appointed for me, and many such decrees are with Him.”

PSA 138:8 The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Thy lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting;

Point 3. Moses’ use of his portfolio of invisible assets.

Point 4. Three attributes of God are the source of our portfolio of invisible assets: sovereignty, love, and omniscience.
ROM 11:29 For the gifts [escrow blessings for time and eternity] and the calling of God [God electing you] are irrevocable.

EPH 1:5 By means of love He has predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the gracious intention of His will.

In knowing all about us, God still provided for each one of us a portfolio of invisible assets, resulting in providing everything we need to live in the natural realm and the spiritual realm.

Point 5. The portfolio of invisible assets from the viewpoint of the believer’s experience.

Our greatest blessings are completely and totally invisible, and therefore can only be understood by revelation.

Once he reaches spiritual adulthood, life takes a fantastic and unusual turn.

THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 151. THE PORTFOLIO OF INVISIBLE ASSETS CONTAINED IN THE WORD OF GOD. 1CO 3:18-23; ISA 14:12-14; DEU 6:5; 10:12; 11:13

The secret of the mystery, Part 151. The portfolio of invisible assets contained in the Word of God.

Wednesday, September 20, 2006

Point 5. The portfolio of invisible assets from the viewpoint of the believer's experience.

Our greatest blessings are completely and totally invisible, and therefore can only be understood by revelation.

Once he reaches spiritual adulthood, life takes a fantastic and unusual turn.

“What God has prepared for all of us” is the portfolio of invisible assets.

HEB 12:1 Now doctrine is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hope means you understand the eschatology of the Rapture, and the tremendous escrow blessings for eternity, the rewards and decorations that belong to the believer forever and ever.

"The evidence of things not seen" is the portfolio of invisible assets.

JOH 15:8 “By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples [indoctrinated ones].”

The wise in their craftiness speaks of those who live for every other reason than the one they have been created for.....they think they have a better plan for their life.

ROM 14:8 For if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.

They have been influenced by the same evil form of thinking that Satan had in eternity past - the “I will” syndrome.

1. “I will ascend to heaven” = his dissatisfaction with the authority and position which God had given him.

2. “I will raise my throne above the stars of God” = sitting on the throne of God and ruling all the angels.

Lucifer had been appointed the guardian of the throne of God; however he aspired to the possession of a throne of his own where he could rule all of creation.

3. “I will sit on the mount of assembly in the recesses of the north” = the seat of divine government on planet earth.

4. “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds” = the glory which belongs to God alone.

5. “I will make myself like the Most High.”

The first form of rebellion ever committed in the universe was committed in the form of negative volition toward the plan of God on the part of a creature.

GAL 5:24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
PSA 23:6 “Only prosperity and grace shall pursue me [prosperity looks for the mature believer] all the days of my life.”

1CO 16:22 “If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Maranatha.” JOS 23:11 “So take diligent heed to yourselves to love the Lord your God.”

Category one love is the believer’s capacity to love God and to respond to God’s love based on Bible doctrine in his soul.

The command to have category one love is found in such passages as DEU 6:5; 10:12; 11:13.

MAR 12:30 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.”

If Bible doctrine or the words of Christ are not abiding in you, you do not have love for God, JOH 5:38-42.

“Hears” - pres-act-ind - akouei = to hear in an audience, to listen, to concentrate, to understand, to learn, to give a hearing.

Not only will you hear doctrine but “if you love the Lord” you will keep His doctrines, JOH 14:15.

“Keep” - aor-act-imp - teresate = to guard something that belongs to you; to watch over carefully, to keep, to hold, to preserve and to pay attention to = to retain.

If you guard or keep God’s Word in you, God’s love will be in you, JOH 15:10.

Having God’s mind or Bible doctrine is that which produces God’s love in the local assembly, PHI 2:2.
PHI 2:2 make my happiness complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.

Keeping doctrine is the only way to love with God’s love, 1JO 2:5.

“Perfected” - perf-pass-ind - teleioo = to complete or to reach maturity; to come to the place where it can be released.

Loving God is also revealed with impersonal love toward one another, 1JO 4:7.

“Knows God” - pres-act-imp - ginosko = the more we love reveals the more we are progressively getting to know Him.

Since God is invisible and the object of category one love, we must see and love Him through doctrine in the soul.

You cannot love God unless you know God, and you cannot know God unless you have metabolized enough pertinent doctrine, 1PE 1:8, EPH 3:18-19, HEB 6:10, 2TI 1:13-14, COL 3:1-2.

1PE 1:8 and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe Him [His doctrine],

JER 3:15 “I will give you pastors after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding.”
JER 23:4 “I shall also raise up pastors over them and they will feed them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares the Lord.

PSA 119:132 Turn to me and be gracious to me, After Thy manner with those who love Thy name.

Category one love is also the basis for supergrace blessing, 1CO 2:9; PSA 37:4-5.

1CO 2:9 but just as it is written, “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the heart of man, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”
PSA 37:4-5 Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.

THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 152. THE RELATIONSHIP OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP TO YOUR PORTFOLIO OF INVISIBLE ASSETS

Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries

The secret of the mystery, Part 152. The relationship of Christian fellowship with your portfolio of invisible assets.

Thursday, September 21, 2006

Point 5. The portfolio of invisible assets from the viewpoint of the believer’s experience.

1. Having personal love toward God is commanded, DEU 6:5; 10:12; MAR 12:30.
2. If you do not have Bible doctrine within, you cannot and do not have love for God; JOH 5:38-42.

3. If a believer really loves God, it will be manifested by his desire to hear God’s word; JOH 8:47.

4. If you love the Lord, you will guard and protect His doctrines in your soul, JOH 14:15.

5. It is doctrine abiding in Christians, not works, that reveals to the Father how much we love Him.

6. If you guard or keep God’s Word in you, God’s love will be in you, JOH 15:10.

7. Having God’s mind or Bible doctrine is that which produces God’s love, PHI 2:2.
8. Keeping doctrine in the soul is the only way to love with God’s love, 1JO 2:5.

9. Loving God is revealed by your impersonal unconditional love toward one another, 1JO 4:7.

10. Loving God and His people can only come through knowledge of doctrine, 1JO 4:16-21.

11. Since God is invisible and the object of category one love, we must see and love Him through doctrine in the soul, 1PE 1:8.
12. Category one love also sets up the standard for grace, PSA 119:132.

13. Category one love is also the basis for supergrace blessing, 1CO 2:9, PSA 37:4-5.
14. Category one love is also the basis for personal and national blessing, DEU 30:15-20.

15. Category one love motivates combat courage and military victory, JOS 23:10-11.
16. Category one love provides strength for adversity and pressure, HEB 11:27.

HEB 11:27 By means of doctrine resident in the soul, Moses left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing Him who is unseen.

17. There is a special curse on believers who fail to have category one love in 1CO 16:22; they are said to be“cursed until the Lord comes.”
1CO 16:22 If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Maranatha.

18. Even witnessing must be motivated by category one love -
2CO 5:14 “The love of Christ motivates us.”

There is no love for God until there is an X amount of metabolized doctrine.

There is no real divine love toward people until there is first, personal love toward God.

ROM 12:9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.

When you start to love someone you have not seen, it is because you have linked up with their thinking.

Pres-act-part - pisteuontes - pisteuvonte" = believing doctrine or having it metabolized.

Answer: Bible doctrine, you believe the word of God!

“Full of glory” = the spiritually sustained believer who reflects the glory of God with the structure in his soul.

How can you ever assume that loving God the Father, loving God the Son under occupation with Christ, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit be set aside for a lot of nonsense called “Christian fellowship” or social life with Christians?

Learn to distinguish between fellowship with God and so-called Christian fellowship, which is nothing more than having social life with Christians.

Christian fellowship is no substitute for learning Bible doctrine from whomever is your right pastor.

Spiritual growth and the execution of the PPOG and subsequent glorification of God only occurs through perception of doctrine, not through Christian fellowship.

Encouragement - pres-act-part - parakalountes - parakalou'nte" = to be encouraged, exhorted, comforted, and even to challenge.

Telic participle - indicates the purpose of the action: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.

Perception of Bible doctrine, not Christian fellowship.

Encouragement comes from Bible doctrine, not from Christian fellowship.

What keeps you coming to Bible class is your own motivation from your own understanding and perception of doctrine, and making it the #1 priority in your life.

Your Christian fellowship with other believers is inconsequential. It is your fellowship with God that counts.

The purpose of assembly worship is the function of perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine, and through the momentum from metabolized doctrine, to execute and fulfill the PPOG for your life.

They are isolated because of geographics, handicaps, illness, lack of transportation or many other reasons.
The priority is to get doctrine to have fellowship with God.

Positive volition will not be denied by God.

(1) Through the local church under face-to-face teaching.
(2) In an isolated situation where no assembly with orthodox teaching is possibly.

While the isolated Christian cannot assemble himself with other believers, he still fulfills the concept of HEB 10:25 through his daily perception of doctrine on tapes, video, audio, etc.

The fulfillment of HEB 10:25 occurs through some other form of technology where, though not assembled with other believers, Bible doctrine is still taken in on a consistent basis.

Christian fellowship or social life with other believers at best is a result of taking in doctrine, whether you assemble with other believers or get it on your own in isolation.

Christian fellowship is not possible for isolated believers due to their geographical location, military service, illness, handicaps, or a job that conflicts with Bible class time.

Often positive believers will not assemble in a local church because of false doctrine or wrong emphasis.
Positive believers in isolation can receive Bible doctrine through tapes, books, radios, video, and other modern conveniences.

If you have to ever make a choice between fellowship or doctrine, you better choose doctrine or you will be a loser.

Notice the word diligently. It takes “effort” to search for doctrine.

“Diligently seek” - piel participle - shachar - intensive stem = this is an intensive search for Bible doctrine.

THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 153. THE INTRODUCTION TO THE FOUR CATEGORIES OF INVISIBLE ASSETS. EPH 3:20-21; 2CO 4:7-10; 6:4-10; 10:3-5; 12:7-10; 13:4

The secret of the mystery. Part 153. The introduction to the four categories of invisible assets.

Friday, September 22, 2006

Point 6. The introduction to the four categories of invisible assets.

a. Primary assets
b. Secondary assets.
c. Personnel assets: spiritual gifts.
d. Unique assets: The indwelling of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

a. The primary assets.
Election and Predestination.

Through utilization of the invisible assets, the believer understands his election and fulfills the pre-designed plan of God.

He learns day by day more and more about who and what God is and what these invisible assets are.

Through utilization of the invisible assets, the believer understands his election and fulfills the pre-designed plan of God.

Both of the primary assets, your election and your predestination, mean you have equal privilege and equal opportunity as a believer.

No human legislation can provide equal privilege and opportunity for no legislation can control the old sin nature.

One of those things was to identify us or baptize us into Christ through the baptism of the Spirit.

Our lives were changed positionally when we were entered into union with Christ. Being a member of God’s Royal Family, we have equal privilege in the eyes of God.

1SA 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart [right lobe].

1CH 29:17 “Since I know, O my God, that Thou triest the heart and You delight in integrity”

1) We never again are to look at ourselves as being superior or inferior because of any human factors, such as the color of our skin, our nationality, our genetics, our success or failure, our economic status, GAL 3:26-28.
2) We must start thinking of ourselves not as man thinks of us, but as God thinks of us.

1CO 7:19 “Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but what matters is the keeping of the commands of God”

3) As new creatures in Christ Jesus, we have a lifestyle that is infinitely superior to anything the unbeliever can produce such as morality, a facade of concern, whether genuine or misguided, or an overt manifestation of love and affection while using others.

Virtue in the believer is the visible manifestation of the invisible, i.e., metabolized doctrine and the power of the Holy Spirit.

As virtue is the visible manifestation of humility toward God, arrogance is the visible manifestation of Satan’s invisible cosmic system.

It can only be manufactured through the laws of divine establishment and living the spiritual life, inside the PPOG.

Virtue is not only a Biblical subject, but it is verified by the etymology and usage of the Greek word arete.

Virtue is the distinctive characteristic of the Royal Family, the inevitable result of executing the plan of God.

Basic virtues developed in the PPOG include enforced and genuine humility, love, worship, morality, courage, and confidence.

Virtue is the quality of intrinsic good; it is not proving one’s worth.

Proving one’s worth is arrogance; arrogance is the antithesis of and is antagonistic to virtue.

Virtue is manufactured from perception of doctrine and results in occupation with Christ, while arrogance is manufactured in the cosmic system and is preoccupation with self.

Believers who reside and function in the PPOG produce virtue, while believers who reside and function in the cosmic system destroy virtue and produce pseudo-virtue.

Virtue manufactured inside the PPOG is the source of all true happiness in life.

Pseudo-virtue manufactured in the cosmic system is the basis of all hypocrisy in life.

The cosmic system makes a special offer to all believers: wealth, success, promotion, sex, authority, lifestyle, approbation, and fame, but without honor, integrity, ability, virtue, love, leadership, capacity, or happiness.

Inside the cosmic system there is a constant search for happiness, while in the PPOG, God’s perfect happiness looks for you.

The production of virtue means both happiness and orientation to God’s plan for the Church-age.

Virtue is for a man to know what is good and what is evil, what is useless, shameful, dishonorable; to be the enemy of bad men and bad customs and to be a friend and protector of those who are good.

1. Devotion and loyalty to your family.

PSA 130:3 If Thou, Lord, shouldst mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?
1KI 8:46...for there is no man who does not sin.
ROM 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

ROM 3:10 as it is written, “There is none righteous, not even one;”
ECC 7:20 Indeed, there is not a righteous man on earth who {continually} does good and who never sins.

1CO 13:7 Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1PE 4:8 Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
JOH 8:7 “He who is without sin among you, let him {be the} first to throw a stone at her.”

The Romans also knew that no one could be virtuous unless they accepted authority (beginning with the authority of their parents).

2. Virtue also meant reverence and devotion to the authorities over the Romans at that time.
3. Virtue meant justice or faith.

By virtue they meant faithfulness or the ability to fulfill one’s obligations and keeping one’s word.

4. Virtue through absolute self-control.
5. Consistency or perseverance.

“Nothing is too difficult for the power of the faithful.”
You may break but you will never break me.
Fortune can take away riches but can never deprive of my courage.

As new creatures in Christ Jesus, we have a lifestyle that is infinitely superior to anything the unbeliever can produce such as morality, a facade of concern, whether genuine or misguided, or an overt manifestation of love and affection while using others.

4) We have to start making application of the fact that we are all “in union” with Christ; we all have exactly the same equal privileges.
5) You will also realize that there is no believer alive, no matter how much he is a loser or a winner, who has any less of a portfolio than anyone else.

6) From salvation on, you are to regard yourself only as a person with invisible assets that stagger the imagination.
7) People always compare themselves with others, thinking of themselves as prettier or uglier, richer or poorer, better personality or inferior personality, zigzagging through their whole life and totally miserable as a result.

The secret of the mystery, Part 154. The first and second categories of invisible assets.

Sunday, September 24, 2006

Point 6. The introduction to the four categories of invisible assets.

a. Primary assets
b. Secondary assets.
c. Personnel assets: spiritual gifts.
d. Unique assets: the indwelling of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

a. The primary assets.
Primary = first or highest in rank, quality, or importance.
The primary assets are election and predestination.

All believers start out with equal privilege and equal opportunity because of election and predestination.

Through utilization of the invisible assets, the believer understands his election and fulfills the pre-designed plan of God.

He learns day by day more and more about who and what God is and what these invisible assets are.

Both of the primary assets, your election and your predestination, mean you have equal privilege and equal opportunity as a believer.

1) We never again are to look at ourselves as being superior or inferior because of any human factors, such as the color of our skin, our nationality, our genetics, our success or failure, our economic status, GAL 3:26-28.

2) We must start thinking of ourselves not as man thinks of us, but as God thinks of us, 1CO 15:10.

4) We have to start making application of the fact that we are all “in union” with Christ; we all have exactly the same equal privileges.

If you have spiritual self-esteem or respect for yourself, you will have impersonal love for others as well.

Then you will respect the human race in general, no matter how nasty, stupid, imbecilic, or wonderful they are.

5) There is no believer alive, no matter how much he is a loser or a winner, who has any less of a portfolio than anyone else.

You are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a dedicated and devoted people, which is the true meaning of holiness.

This world is not your home, so don’t make yourselves cozy in it. Don’t indulge your ego at the expense of your soul.

Once we understand this equal privilege in Christ, we must completely change our attitudes and focus in on our election, predestination, and our portfolio of invisible assets.

b. Secondary assets.
Here is where your volitional decisions really matter.

You make doctrine #1 priority.
You do your own thinking and your own walking.

Your volitional assets use election and predestination to attain your escrow assets.

That is what a portfolio is supposed to do:
Use assets to create assets.

This is a picture of the Lord’s ascension into heaven and going into a distant country.
They all received the same thing - equal privilege and equal opportunity.

This parable teaches that the Lord bestows privileges on His servants and demands faithfulness in return and rewards for that faithfulness at the judgment seat.

MAT 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal;

MAT 19:21 Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be mature, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

LUK 19:13 - they all received the same thing representing equal privileges and the fact that those who use these privileges will be rewarded for what they did.

REV 22:12 Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.

Hate - aor-act-ind - miseo = to love Him less than they do something else, namely themselves.

2TI 3:12 And indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

The nobleman commanded his servants to appear before him to give an account of what they gained through trading with the deposit during his absence.

This is a picture of every believer who has been given fantastic invisible assets, and they are to multiply those assets as they live in the PPOG.

The portfolio of invisible assets is the means of receiving your escrow blessings, but God has provided both and is the one who deserves all the glory.

PSA 115:1 “Not to us, O Lord, not to us, But to Thy name give glory Because of Thy grace, because of Thy doctrine.”
1CO 15:10 “But by the grace of God I am what I am.”

1CO 4:7 For who regards you as superior? And what do you have that you did not receive? But if you did receive it, why do you brag or strut as if you had not received it?

His promotion to a greater service was based on the degree of fruitfulness in his previous service.
Just like your escrow blessings for eternity will be based upon what you did with your portfolio of invisible assets in time.

They differed from each other in the diligence displayed.

The Lord we serve notices both the quantity and the quality of what is done for Him.

This is a picture of the “sin of omission” which is the a sin of not doing something that you should be doing.
It is not an immoral sin but a sin of neglect and despondency.

MAT 25:26 “You wicked, lazy slave.”

The soudaion was for wiping perspiration from the face or binding the face of a corpse.
These individuals, though having their own assets, lived like spiritually dead individuals.

The faithful steward deserves greater responsibilities while the unfaithful lose the responsibilities they have.
There are certain blessings that God has ordained to take place in your life because His omniscience saw the positive volitional decisions you would make in time.

The issue in the execution of God's will and plan for your life is advancing to spiritual maturity.

1CO 14:20 Brethren, do not be children in your thinking; yet in evil be babes, but in your thinking be mature.
EPH 4:13 Attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fulness of Christ.
