Our Story

How it all started...

Believe it or not, Pastor Robert R. McLaughlin began his ministry work in that of an old fish market on Thame Street in Bristol Rhode Island during the early 1980's. That's right, you read it and you've heard it before  from the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 4:19 And He *said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.” When he began his ministry he did not do it solo, Pastor McLaughlin was a husband and father of four young children. Today, his two sons Deacon Robert McLaughlin and Deacon Charles McLaughlin, as well as his son-in-law Deacon John Medeiros are ordained deacons and his daughter Samantha McLaughlin Medeiros is the administrative director of NEBDC as well as the many other leadership roles she plays with the exception of deaconship and/or pastor teacher.

Expanding the vision...

As Pastor McLaughlin's daughter I can assure you that his early years of ministry came and went like a whirlwind. All throughout our lives my dad taught us how to depend upon God for all things. Yes, there were trials and challenges. There were years of prosperity and blessings and heartache and sufferings. Most of all, there were years of opportunity and that I can certainly assure you our Pastor-Teacher Robert R. McLaughlin took his calling very serious. While I was a young child - my dad taught over 12-15 hours a week. He taught Monday thru Friday: 1 hour morning radio show, 1 hour morning class, 1 hour noon radio show, 1 hour evening class. He also did a radio program once on Saturdays, and he taught twice on Sundays! Within our GBIBLE app and website  you can find the majority of these lessons available at your fingertips in MP3, MP4 & PDF.
Please enjoy the above slideshow for some of Pastors early ministry work as he paved the way for so many future doctrinal teachers and ministries.

Where we are headed...

We go wherever God directs our path. In the later years of Pastor McLaughlin's ministry work he continues to teach twice a week as he is and has been battling some major health issues the past several years. His desire is to teach until his last breath and if he has any say in the matter, he will do so! For now we continue to walk in the plan of God for our lives together as Royal Family and we consider it a great privilege. It is our hope, as we continue to look forward to the Blessed Hope, that we will reach and impact many more lives spiritually as fishers of men and women. If it is in His will, the enormous amount of Bible Doctrine that my dad has taught for my entire life will continue to be taught and shared by future generations and if the Lord does not return to get His bride first, may it by my own children who continue this beautiful tapestry of TRUTH!
