What Makes Job's Friends Get It SO Wrong?

However, in Job 2:11, his friends—Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar—arrive to comfort him but end up condemning him based on their emotional reactions and presumptions. They incorrectly assume Job is under divine discipline for his sins, ignoring the fact that Job is suffering for blessing. The friends' misapplications of doctrine and lack of complete information lead to incorrect judgments about Job's situation.
