Our main Study of Building the Spiritual House is in 1 Pe2:1-12.

3. Solid ground and a blueprint plan – “Upon this rock…” Mat 16:13-18.

Mat 16:18 I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.

Nothing can be built and remain unless it is atop a solid foundation. Christ is what we build our foundation on. He is called “the Rock”.

1. Christ is the Rock of Salvation. 1 Cor 3:11; Exo 17:1-7.

2. Christ is the Rock of perfection. Zec 3:9.

3. Christ is the Rock of the provision of logistical grace. Ps 144:1.
Christ provides whatever you need to honour Him. Isa 26:3-4.

4. Christ is the Foundation Rock of Israel. Psa 118:22; Isa 28:16.

5. Christ is the Foundation Rock of the Church. Mat 16:18; Eph 2:20-22.

6. Christ is the destroying Rock of the Second Advent. Dan 2:34-35.

7. To the unbeliever, Christ is the Rock of Judgment. 1 Pet 2:8, Mat 21:44.

1PE 2:1 Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander,
1PE 2:2 like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,
1Pe 2:3 if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.
1Pe 2:4 And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God,
1Pe 2:5 you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
1Co 3:9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
1Co 3:11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1Co 3:16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

We all can come to Jesus Christ and be saved but as Pastor has stated many times, ‘After Salvation what?’
If we were to just be saved, then He would have taken us at the moment we believed by faith alone, in Christ alone. That is not what our loving God has done with these blueprint plans, He wants us to become like Him in every way possible, that is why we have
The PPOG – a fantastic life beyond what we can imagine or dream. Eph 3:20.

Eph 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

Rom 9:22 What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction?

Rom 9:23 And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory,

Rom 9:24 even us, whom He also called, not from among Jews only, but also from among Gentiles.


God’s plan in every dispensation starts with Faith in Christ as the means of salvation. That salvation can never be lost or cancelled or reversed.


1Pe 1:4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

1CO 3:11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
