WHAT IT MEANS TO BE INITIATED INTO THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 79. THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT AND FAITHFULNESS

What it means to be initiated into the secret of the mystery, Part 79. The fruit of the Spirit and faithfulness.

Pistis
1. It denotes the trust that one has in another.
2. As a virtue and a result of the production of the Spirit, it also refers to being faithful, trustworthy, reliable, and steadfast.
3. Having confidence, assurance, conviction, belief, and doctrine.

Propitiation = God the Father is satisfied with the sacrificial ministry of our Lord on the cross.

Divine faithfulness manifests itself in divine discipline to the apostate and in blessing to the mature believer.

Faithfulness is a loyal attitude to something in life or someone in life who you love, respect, admire, or recognize their authority.

1JO 1:9 “If we acknowledge our sins, He is faithful and righteous, with the result that he forgives us our sins[known sins] and cleanses us from all unrighteousness [unknown sins].”

God knew every single sin we would ever commit during our lifetime in eternity past.

God is interested in the fact that Jesus Christ took our place as our substitute.

God is justified to forgive us because He has been propitiated by the sacrifice of His perfect Son.

JAM 1:17 Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.

1CO 1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1TH 5:24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.

God’s perfect faithfulness to you in eternity past inevitably leads to His perfect faithfulness to you in time.

GEN 12:13-19 - Abraham willfully lies to deceive the pharaoh and protect his own life.

GEN 26:7 - he committed the same sin as his father Abraham; he lived in fear of losing his life and therefore he willfully lied and told the men of Gerah that Rebekah was not his wife but his sister.

GEN 25:31-33 - he was naturally crafty and sly and stole the birthright from Esau.
GEN 27:18-29 - a record of his master deception over his father Isaac, and yet God was faithful to him.

EXO 2:12 - he willfully killed a man with his bare hands.

He made excuses to the Lord, EXO 3:11, saying that he was not fit to be used by the Lord.

EXO 4:10 - he gave excuses saying that he was not eloquent, and he could not speak.
EXO 4:13 - he asked the Lord to send someone else.
JDG 6:13 - he said, I cannot go because the Lord has forsaken Israel.
JDG 6:15 - he then said, I am not fit for the job.

JDG 8:24-27 - he foolishly makes a golden ephod which becomes a snare to Israel, and yet in spite of all this and much more the Lord was faithful to him.
JDG 14:1-3 - he kept associating with evil people, basically wild and perverted women.

He was very spiritual at times, JDG 13:25,
JDG 15:14, yet he was under the power of carnal lust.

JDG 15:4 - he was childish in his plans, yet courageous in battle, JDG 15:11-14.
JDG 16:28 - he called upon the Lord for strength, and after all this, the Lord was faithful to him.

1SA 21:1-10 - David willfully sinned and told a lie, and the result of his lie was that an entire city was wiped out (city of Nob).
Then he “faked madness” and made the enemy believe he was crazy, and as a result hundreds died, 2SA 2:11-18.

Then David failed in his responsibility as the King, 2SA 11:1.
While he was in Jerusalem, 2SA 11:2-27, he ended up in certain “shocking” sins.

He committed adultery,
he got a man drunk,
he committed murder,
and he willfully lied.

2SA 6:1-13 - he did not honor the word of God.
1Ch 21 - David rejected the promises of God and even questioned the faithfulness of God.

He lived an excessive luxurious lifestyle, 1KI 4:22-23.
He married all kinds of ungodly women, 1KI 11:1-2
He lived in excessive sensuality, 1KI 11:3.
He even sanctioned idolatry, 1KI 11:4-7.

1Ki 19 - Elijah just had a tremendous victory, and then he runs from the threat of a woman.

JoNAH 4:4-11 - the Lord was faithful to him and taught him a superb lesson on divine love.

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE INITIATED INTO THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 80. THE FAITHFULNESS OF FRIENDSHIP

Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries

What it means to be initiated into the secret of the mystery, Part 80. The faithfulness of friendship.

The seventh manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit - nominative singular feminine noun pistis - pivsti".

1. The trust that one has in another.
2. As a virtue and a result of the production of the Spirit it also refers to being faithful, trustworthy, reliable, and steadfast.
3. It also refers to having confidence, assurance, conviction, belief and doctrine.

As spiritual babies we begin by learning the grace principles of salvation and rebound; this is our grace orientation but also a manifestation of the faithfulness of God, promising that because He is faithful He forgives you always.

1PE 5:7 casting all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares for you.

DEU 31:8 And the Lord, He it is who goes before you; He will not fail you or forsake you. Fear not, neither be confused.

a. The function of faith perception.
b. There is mixing the promises of God with your faith.
c. The application of the doctrinal rationales to your experience.

The doctrinal rationales include: the essence of God rationale, the plan of God rationale, the policy of God rationale, the a fortiori rationale.

d. The plaintiff function before the Supreme Court of Heaven as a victim of injustice, real or imagined.
e. Faith execution which demands true humility and the avoidance of self-absorption.

“Fear” is used here in the good sense of obligation to execute the mechanics of faith; they are synonymous.

“His rest” is sharing the happiness of God - having faith in the tranquility and tremendous contentment which comes from understanding God’s plan in the midst of the greatest confusion and stress in life.

The blessing that comes from claiming God’s promises and utilizing Bible doctrine circulating in the soul is the basis of entering into this rest.

The believer comes short of God’s rest through scar tissue in the soul, garbage in the subconscious, the arrogance and emotional complex of sins, the control of the soul by the lust pattern.

Stress in the soul knocks out the filling of the Spirit, doctrinal orientation, and the coordination of the faith-rest drill among the problem-solving devices.

There is a definite relationship between stress and cognition.

Stress makes you forgetful and impairs your memory.
Stress impairs your ability to learn.
Stress affects your perception of reality.

Only when stress is removed, can cognitive ability be restored.

Adversity is an outside pressure; stress is an inside pressure of life.
Stress is what you do to yourself; adversity is what circumstances do to you.

Adversity is inevitable; stress is optional.

Stress in the soul contradicts the PPOG for the Church and destroys the spiritual life of the believer.

Only the conversion of gnosis doctrine to epignosis doctrine through faith perception prevents the conversion of the outside pressures of adversity into the inside pressures of stress in the soul, which is tantamount to sin nature control of the soul.

Extrapolation from epignosis doctrine circulating in the consciousness produces ten problem-solving devices by which you, in the privacy of your priesthood, can resolve your own problems and make good decisions from a position of strength.

With ten problem-solving devices on the defensive line of your soul, you defensively prevent adversity from being converted into stress in the soul.

The fruit of the Spirit produces faithfulness.

Webster’s New Twentieth Century Dictionary - Faithfulness = being full of faith, strong or firm in one’s belief, loyal, constant in the performance of duties or services, true to one’s word, reliable and dependable.

PRO 28:20 A faithful man will abound with blessings, But he who makes haste to be rich will not go unpunished.

DEU 32:20 Then He said, “I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be; For they are a perverse generation, Sons in whom is no faithfulness.”
1SA 26:23 And the Lord will repay each man for his righteousness and his faithfulness;

PSA 37:3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.
HOS 4:1 Listen to the word of the Lord, O sons of Israel, For the Lord has a case against the inhabitants of the land, Because there is no faithfulness or kindness or knowledge of God in the land.

Faithfulness is a very difficult thing to find in any generation.

Faithfulness as a virtue is faithfulness to Bible doctrine, including perception, spiritual growth, and the fulfillment of the Royal Family honor code.

Faithfulness is the main virtue that the Lord brings out in MAT 25:21 when it comes to the believer receiving rewards in the eternal state.

REV 2:10 “Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

1CO 4:17 Timothy is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, and he will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, just as I teach everywhere in every church.

EPH 6:21 Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make everything known to you.

1PE 5:12 Silvanus, our faithful brother for so I regard him,

There are many categories of faithfulness throughout the Bible.
There is faithfulness toward God.
Faithfulness toward the right man or right woman.
Faithfulness toward friends.
Faithfulness toward the Royal Family.
There is the faithful congregational member.
The faithful worker on the job.

Put - suwm = to impress or to set.

Seal - chotham = a ring or a seal that signifies she belongs to a certain man and she is waiting for him.

GEN 38:18 - the woman would carry a ring on a string on her breast over her heart which would symbolize where the area of identification between a man and a woman really takes place which is in soul.

The right man for your life will fulfill the standards that you have in your soul.

Sol 8:6 “Put me like a seal over your heart, Like a seal on your arm. For love [“true love”] is as strong as death,”

The third witness against Satan in the angelic conflict is marriage; he knows it is the most difficult to achieve, and that’s why there is such an attack upon marriage. That is why the third category of friendship becomes very vital because they help people get through these difficult times.

Marriage is the third witness in the angelic conflict; it is very vulnerable to attacks by the kingdom of darkness, and therefore your real strength comes from your relationship with God.

The third witness against Satan in the angelic conflict is marriage; he knows it is the most difficult to achieve, and that’s why there is such an attack upon marriage. That is why the third category of friendship becomes very vital because they help people get through these difficult times.

That the smarter you are the fewer friends you will have, PRO 18:24, because they repeat things and won’t cover.

PRO 17:17 A friend loves at all times, And [as] a brother is born for adversity.\
PRO 17:9 He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates intimate friends.

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE INITIATED INTO THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 81. THE GENTLENESS OF GOD. GAL 5:22

Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries

What it means to be initiated into the secret of the mystery. Part 81. The gentleness of God.

Wednesday, August 17, 2005

1. A reference to personal love for God and then impersonal love for all mankind.
2. Joy - inner happiness and contentment.
3. Peace or overt prosperity.

4. Patience as well as longsuffering.
5. Kindness, or graciousness.
6. Goodness or the production of divine good.
7. Pistis or faithfulness.

8. “Gentleness” - nominative singular feminine noun praotes - prau?th" = gentleness, humility, or meekness.

Humility does not consist in pretending to be less than one really is but rather is demonstrated when one does not pretend to be more than one really is.

Gentleness, meekness, or humility is the right condition of mind that we must have so that the Word of God may be received, JAM 1:21.

Humility is freedom from pride and arrogance.

a. Reception, in which the pastor communicates Bible doctrine to a group of believers, and the information goes to the believer’s human spirit.

The Holy Spirit makes that doctrine PNEUMATIKOS - spiritual phenomena.

Then the positive believer has faith perception, the metabolization of that Bible doctrine by which it goes into the KARDIA or right lobe, where it becomes EPIGNOSIS doctrine.

b. Retention which is epignosis doctrine by which we grow in grace, the basis for momentum.

c. Recall = the application of epignosis doctrine to experience, the basis for creating invisible heroes, the objective of the spiritual life.

There is a difference between enforced humility and genuine humility.

Humility must be distinguished from humiliation.
Humility is the virtue of freedom from arrogance.
Humility is recognition of authority.

Sincerity is not accepted by the Lord, accuracy is.

Obey - kal infinitive - shama = to hear and to concentrate, to hear intelligently, to pay attention, or to concentrate.

The superficiality of worship may say the right thing, they may say the biblical thing, but the only thing that really counts is how much doctrine you have in your soul.

The Doctrine of Forgiveness. Point 1. Definition.

Forgiveness = to give up resentment, excuse a guilty party, to release from payment, to forget an offense never bringing it up again not even to discuss it.

The principle of legal pardon is no different from the principle of personal pardon and forgiveness.

If someone asks for your forgiveness, and in honor you forgive them, then integrity and loyalty to doctrine demands that you forget whatever was done against you.

It also means that you never again recall what the individual has done to you or penalize the individual for doing so.
Arrogance has no ability to forgive.

LUK 17:4 “If someone sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ forgive him.”

Point 2. The ultimate expression of forgiveness was the cross of Christ.

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE INITIATED INTO THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 82. THE LOVE OF GOD IN GENTLENESS AND FORGIVENESS

Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries

What it means to be initiated into the secret of the mystery, Part 82. The love of God in gentleness and forgiveness.

Thursday, August 18, 2005

1. Personal love for God and then impersonal love for all mankind.
2. Joy or inner happiness.
3. Peace or overt prosperity.
4. Patience as well as longsuffering.
5. Kindness and-or graciousness.
6. Goodness or the production of divine good.
7. Pistis or faithfulness.

8. “Gentleness” - nominative singular feminine noun praotes - prau?th" = gentleness, humility or meekness. Gentleness or humility is one of the most important ingredients from the fruit of the Spirit, inasmuch as vanity and pride are the most common human traits.

Humility does not consist in pretending to be less than one really is but rather is demonstrated when one does not pretend to be more than one really is.

1. Personal love for God and then impersonal love for all mankind.
2. Joy or inner happiness
3. Peace or overt prosperity.
4. Patience as well as longsuffering.
5. Kindness or graciousness.
6. Goodness or the production of divine good.
7. Pistis or faithfulness.
Gentleness has to do with Forgiveness.

Forgiveness = to give up resentment, excuse a guilty party, to release from payment, to forget an offense never bringing it up again not even to discuss it.

The principle of legal pardon is no different from the principle of personal pardon and forgiveness.

If someone asks for your forgiveness, and in honor you forgive them, then integrity and loyalty to doctrine demand that you forget whatever was done against you.

It also means that you never again recall what the individual has done to you or penalize the individual for doing so.
Arrogance has no ability to forgive.

The greatest illustration of forgiveness is the cross itself, where all the personal sins of the human race were imputed to our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.

The world is filled with acts of injustice and only the grace of God, understanding our subject of forgiveness, and you being gentle, can get you through.

Joseph had a change of circumstances but not a change of God’s grace support.

1. Joseph was thrown into the pit by his brothers which was a part of God’s plan for his life, which he failed to recognize, GEN 37:1-24.

2. Joseph was sold to a caravan, which just so happened to be coming by, and the caravan took Joseph to Egypt, God’s geographical will for Joseph, GEN 37:25-36!

3. Joseph then became a servant to Potiphar, who was an officer of Pharaoh, and Joseph learned that God can provide prosperity in any situation, GEN 39:2-6.

4. Joseph was then tempted many times by Potiphar’s wife to have sex with her, and he passed the test magnificently, GEN 39:7-10.

5. Mrs. Potiphar reacted against the rejection by Joseph and falsely accused Joseph of trying to seduce her, and this was a total act of injustice, GEN 39:11-18.

6. Potiphar believed his wife and threw Joseph into the dungeon for his second “pit” experience, GEN 39:19-20.

7. In GEN 40:1-4, Potiphar abuses his authority and gives Joseph double duties as a slave to two aristocrats in the Egyptian prison.

8. In GEN 40:14-15, Joseph fails again by relying on man and human viewpoint rather than the Lord or divine provisions, and the two men both forget to help Joseph in his prison experience.

In GEN 45:1, Joseph’s brothers, unknowingly, are begging Joseph for some help and food for the famine!

After putting his brothers through certain tests, Joseph discovered that their attitude toward each other had apparently changed, and Joseph would still be gentle.

Joseph discovered that their love for each other had apparently changed through certain tests.

Notice his humility and his gentleness after being so mistreated!

He brings their fears and worries right to the surface by stating what they lived in fear of, the fact that they sold him into slavery!

No bitterness! No resentment, No anger, No spite, Just unconditional love and total forgiveness!

When God blesses and God promotes, the disasters, tragedies, and heartaches of life are all blotted out.

So great is the blessing from God that the bad times are completely forgotten.

In all of these years of seeing how God has blessed Joseph through grace and through B.D., they still have not learned a thing!

Joseph’s brothers have learned absolutely nothing from the principles which are found in the life of Joseph. The brothers are believers, but they are losers!

They are in self-induced misery; they are actually making their own unhappiness!

They actually think that Joseph will do to them what they have done to him!

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE INITIATED INTO THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 83. THE FINAL FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS SELF-CONTROL. GAL 5:22-23; EPH 5:15-17; PRO 16:32, PRO 25:28, 1CO 9:24-27, HEB 5:11-12, JOH 4:23-24, 1TI 4:7-8

Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries

What it means to be initiated into the secret of the mystery. Part 83. The final fruit of the Spirit is self-control.

Friday, August 19, 2005

8. “Gentleness” = gentleness, humility, but most of all forgiveness.

9. “Self-control” - nominative singular feminine noun - egkrateia - e*gkravteia = self-discipline or self-control.

Egkrateia = an “organized life.”

a. Having the right priorities = a “time” for everything.
A time for God.
A time for doctrine.
A time for family.
A time for friends.
A time for business, etc.

b. An organized life is also based upon Bible doctrine which will give you the capacity to organize your life and have inner happiness with the right priorities.

If you are always late then obviously you are either a person with bad manners or a person who is disorganized.
The believer must have organization in his use of time and in his use of energy and have the right priorities in life.

An individual who can triumph over himself is greater than an individual who captures an entire city in battle.

PRO 25:28 A city that is broken into without walls is like a man who has no control over his spirit.

Egkrateia [self-control] = good manners when you are sitting in Bible class; you refrain from talking, moving around, etc.
When you hear something which you violently disagree with, you have self-control!

As a result of self-control you maintain your poise.
From your poise you will eventually develop a phenomenal ability for learning.

Every athlete went through identical training no matter what his event.
This is analogous to every believer having the identical equal privilege and equal opportunity inside the PPOG as the place in which we train and compete.

Only the believer inside the PPOG is living the Christian way of life, and therefore is qualified to compete in the angelic conflict.

There was a group called the Agonistai who were people who just worked out to stay in shape, which is just sheer agony.
The Athletai or the athletes were the ones who trained under the rules of the national gymnasium for ten months.

You were not allowed to leave the large walled area of the gymnasium for ten months, and you had to exercise under the authority of the Gumnasiarch, the ruler of the gym (analogous to the pastor).

a. You could not leave for any reason.
b. You were on a strict diet which everyone ate (other foods being analogous to distractions of the cosmic system).

c. Everyone participated in group exercise naked outdoors, regardless of the weather (analogous to everyone getting the same doctrinal teaching).
d. Daily trumpet calls had to be met each day at various times; if you missed one you were disqualified.
e. Everyone had equal privilege and opportunity to compete.

a. He received a crown of ivy leaves, which represented the rewards he would receive when he returned home.
b. He had a special entrance cut into the wall of his hometown city which he passed through when he returned home.
REV 3:12a The winner, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God.

He rode in the best chariot through the city in a parade.
He received a lifetime pass to all future games.
He received a great amount of money.
An ode was written to him by a poet.

A statue of him was put up in the public square.
His children were fed and educated at public expense.
He was exempt from all income taxes for life.

Much to say = the adjective polus + noun logos = much doctrine.

It is difficult to explain because his congregation had become un-disciplined and slow and did not think under thought testing.

Somebody’s got to pick them up!
Somebody’s got to feed them!
Somebody’s got to burp them!
Somebody’s got to walk them!

What characterizes these types of believers is the fact that they have horizontal dependencies which they have cultivated; they are more interested in fellowship with other believers than fellowshipping in the Word or learning doctrine.

These horizontal believers never had or they lost the ability to counsel themselves through doctrine in their souls, so they are constantly looking for advice and counsel from others.

Habits speak of routine.
The baby wants the spectacular while the adult cultivates habits.

Just like the marching around Jericho for seven days resulted in the falling down of the walls because God said it would work.

HEB 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as is the habit of some, but gathering together for the purpose of encouragement.

Self-discipline is a very vital function of your authority over your own life.

Self-discipline = you have authority over your life and you are going to honor that authority.

“Old women” seem to take a beating in the Bible.

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE INITIATED INTO THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 84. THE KEY WORD IN ALL BELIEVERS' RELATIONSHIPS IS LOVE. JOH 15:9-18; EPH 4:29-EPH 5:22

Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries

What it means to be initiated into the secret of the mystery. Part 84. The key word in all believers' relationships is Love.

Sunday, August 28, 2005

I have been transporting you 33 years later to another night which was not glorious, not accompanied by angels, nor the singing voices of the angelic hosts, nor was there joy.

Jesus with great patience and much compassion and understanding took the time to talk with these men about how they might carry on without Him after He left the earth.

A second major lesson that TLJC used after His teaching concerning abiding in Him, was to reveal to the disciples the importance of their relationship with one another.

That one area represents the greatest area of struggle for the Christian, and it might very well be that we struggle mostly with relationships, because we have really never understood what Jesus said about them the last night He was with His men.

Verses 12-17 talk about the relationship of believer with believer and the key word is Love.

One other relationship is continually a matter of struggle - the believer with the world, the last part of the chapter, verses 18-27.

The key word is Hate - it appears 8 times in 10 verses.
That is what we could expect out of a world that is out of touch with God and out of union with Christ because there is disunion between the believer and the world.

Let’s take a look; we have a command to love, so we better find out.

You have to grow up spiritually, just as when you were born physically you had to grow up before you could face anything in life and take responsibility for your own decisions.

Marriage puts 2 people, a man and a woman, in confined quarters.

Marriage usually begins with the total attraction between two persons, but as it progresses, also it retrogresses.

Marriage should be the beginning of love not the end of love.

A genuine marriage starts with some sort of love and as time goes on, and the two involved become less attractive physically, the relationship becomes greater.

EPH 4:31 let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamour and slander be put away from you along with all malice.
The word here which destroys relationships and especially marriage = “bitterness.”

EPH 4:32 and be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE INITIATED INTO THE SECRET OF THE MYSTERY, PART 85. THE MYSTERY OF RELATIONSHIPS

Robert McLaughlin Bible Ministries

What it means to be initiated into the secret of the mystery, Part 85. The mystery of relationships.

Wednesday, August 31, 2005

1. Our relationship with Him or abiding in Him, verses 1-11.
2. Our relationships with one another, verses 12-17.
3. Our relationship with the world or the cosmic system, verses 18-27.

The apostle Paul is one of the greatest experts on relationships in all of human history.

EPH 4:31-32 let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamour and slander be put away from you along with all malice. [that which destroys relationships and especially marriage = bitterness]. and be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you

If you are a woman with money never marry a man who does not have money unless you have seen your lawyer and he has written up for you a contract where your money always stays with you.

EPH 6:10-12 From now on, start becoming strong by means of the Lord, and in the strength of His might. Pick up and put on the full armor from God, that you may be able to hold your ground against the schemes or the strategies of the devil.

EPH 6:12 Because our struggle is not against blood [people’s souls] and flesh [their old sin nature], but against the rulers [these are the archons like Abaddon and Beelzebub], against the powers [demon officers who have phenomenal authority], against the world forces of this darkness - [kosmokratoras - demons who specialize in possessing or influencing the cosmos or world rulers] against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places or against the spiritual forces of evil in the atmosphere around the earth, the stellar universe and in the presence of God.

EPH 6:13-14 Because of this, pick up and put on the full armor from God, that you may be able to hold your ground in the day when evil attacks you, even after you have achieved or accomplished everything, hold your ground. Because of this, hold your ground, [after you] have buckled on your combat gear around your waist by means of doctrine, and [after you] have put on the breastplate of righteousness,

EPH 6:15-17 [hold your ground] after you have put on your combat boots on your feet with readiness, preparation, or the equipment of the gospel of peace. In addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

EPH 6:18-20 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
