As members of the Royal Family of God, there is an exact, precise, and accurate plan for those members of the Royal Family to follow.

The Church-age believer belongs to a spiritual dynasty founded by TLJC in which his standard of living follows the pattern that the Lord clearly established when He was on earth. MAT 5:17 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.”

The Law or the Mosaic Law was never given to the Gentiles, DEU 4:8, ROM 2:12-14, because Israel was the client nation.

Codex three is the exception, since it belongs to the entire world, and principles of Codex three are reiterated in such passages as ROM 13:1-10.

The Mosaic Law was never given to the Church, ACT 15:5,24; ROM 6:14; GAL 2:19.
The Mosaic Law was never given to Gentiles, DEU 4:8.

EPH 5:1-2 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; And walk in virtue love, just as Christ also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

The exactness of God’s code for the Royal Family expresses His own perfection.
Only a right thing done in a right way is right.

Perfect God has provided His perfect truth and His own perfect power for the execution of His perfect plan.

Divine viewpoint from Bible doctrine must replace human viewpoint.

The same truth and the same power that TLJC relied on during the Incarnation and the dispensation of the hypostatic union define the only approach to life for every believer in the Church-age.

Ignorance mixed with negligence cannot avoid the trap of arrogance.

The “pre-designed” plan of God refers to the subject of predestination.

Predestination does not mean what those under the influence of hyper-Calvinism think that it means - that everything that has happened in your life and will happen has been predestined by God.

Predestination is the “provision of a plan” from the sovereignty of God for you in eternity past to execute His plan, purpose, and will for your life.

If God is going to deposit all those fantastic blessings in escrow for you and then “will” them for you, He must provide a way for you to fulfill the conditions for receiving those blessings.

Predestination is God’s grace provision for each one of us to fulfill His plan and to receive the conveyance of our escrow blessings.

Your equal privilege of predestination is being made Royal Family by the baptism of the Holy Spirit, who placed you in union with Christ at salvation, called positional sanctification.

Your equal opportunity in predestination is your very own plan, designed perfectly for you and prefabricated for you in eternity past.

What we call in time the PPOG is from the divine viewpoint of eternity past, called predestination.

a. Predestination = there is a plan perfectly designed for you -
EPH 1:11 “Having been predestined for a predetermined plan”

b. Predestination = the possession of your very own personalized and individual plan -
ROM 8:29 He also predestined us to be conformed to the image of His Son.

c. Predestination means royalty. The believer is Royal Family of God -
EPH 1:5 He has predestined us for the purpose of adoption to Himself.

1. Proorizo - pro = before + horizo = to set a boundary
“To set a boundary beforehand, to appoint or determine beforehand.”

1CO 2:7 but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery [mystery doctrine], the hidden wisdom, which God predestined before the ages to our glory;

EPH 1:5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,

EPH 1:11 Also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will,

2TI 1:9 He has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose [predetermined plan] and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,
REV 13:8 “the Lamb who was slain before the foundation of the world”

4. Proginosko - pro = before + ginosko = to know
“To know beforehand, or to foreordain.”

This Greek word assures us that the plan was thought out from God’s omniscience and developed in eternity past.

5. Prognosis = foreknowledge or predetermined purpose. It occurs twice in the Bible, ACT 2:23; 1PE 1:2.

ISA 42:1 “Behold My Servant whom I sustain, My Elected One in Whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.”

God has everything under control and He knows what He’s perfectly doing.

Proorizo, which means to set a boundary beforehand or to appoint or determine beforehand is also used for mystery doctrine, 1CO 2:7.

A part of this mystery doctrine is the subject of adoption; therefore God predestined us to be adopted, EPH 1:5.

1. Proorizo = to set a boundary beforehand, to appoint or determine beforehand.

2. Protithemi - pro = before + tithemi = to put, to place, to set before
“To predetermine, to set forth, to plan, to purpose, to design beforehand.”

4. Proginosko - pro = before + ginosko = to know

1PE 1:20 For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for your sake.

This Greek word assures us that the plan was thought out from God’s omniscience and developed in eternity past.

5. Prognosis = foreknowledge or predetermined purpose.
It occurs twice in the Bible, ACT 2:23; 1PE 1:2.
This word describes the purpose of the plan for each and every one of us.

ISA 42:1 “Behold My Servant whom I sustain, My Elected One in Whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.”

1PE 2:4,6 And coming to Him as a living stone, rejected by men, but elected and precious in the sight of God... Behold, I lay in Zion the chief cornerstone, the Elected One, held in honor; in fact, he who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”

Did God the Father violate our Lord’s human volition and “make” Him go to the cross and die for the sins of the whole world?
Did our Lord go to the cross choosing from His own volition to obey the will of God?

MAT 26:52-53 “Put your sword back into its place... do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?”

The election and predestination of our Lord had nothing to do with the violation of human volition.

Just as the election and predestination of both Israel and the Church has nothing to do with violating human volition.

When the Bible talks about “Jacob have I loved and Esau have I hated” it is not referring to violating human volition, but to the omniscience of God knowing how each creature would choose before the foundation of the world.

It is a divine choice only in the fact that when God created and patterned human volition He knew that in some cases it would be for Him and in other cases against Him.

Human resentment is blasphemous when it ascribes to God the lie that some are favored more than others respecting destiny.

There is ineqhristianity. The reason why there is inequality in Christianity and the difference between success and failure is a matter of human volition not a matter of divine choice.

Injustice and inequality originates from man and fallen angels, not God.

God invented volition but He is not responsible for what volition chooses.

We make the decision to believe in Him, but God has the right to take those who respond to His invitation and have a special plan for them (PPOG), a special protection for them, and a special provision for them.

God wills His best for every believer, but the tragic thing is that most believers reject His perfect plan.

When you will the best for yourself, if you are normal, what you will inevitably wish is happiness for yourself, pleasure for yourself, success for yourself, prosperity for yourself.

The PPOG is a strict system of procedure based upon the accurate teaching of the word of God.

It is based upon the very simple statement that a right thing must be done in a right way.

Most of the blessings that believers receive come in the form of logistical grace and not from fulfilling the conditions found in their eternal savings account.

ROM 12:10-11 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;
not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

2TI 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth.

HEB 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God has developed, in His grace, a system which is totally impossible for human power to live in.

Sloppy procedure is always related to emotion, human works, and human activity, and is always a manifestation of arrogance.

The Christian way of life is executed through the power of the Holy Spirit who does not produce emotion.

Emotion is produced by the body; the Holy Spirit produces accuracy and preciseness – a vast difference.

This plan is almost 2000 years old, for it began with our Lord’s resurrection. Ten days after His ascension the Church-age began, which is the dispensation of divine power.

It is the system God has devised to delegate His power to manufacture a winner out of the Church-age believer.

This system, the PPOG, defines the way of living or lifestyle of the believer who fulfills the mechanics of the Christian way of life by residence, function, and momentum inside of God’s plan.

While all divine power is delegated to the PPOG, all human power is relegated to cosmic one and two.

Inside the PPOG, the believer functions under the enabling power of the Holy Spirit and momentum from metabolized doctrine, and under the application of these two factors, he executes God’s plan.

This system for the utilization of divine power is called the PPOG, which is the power “realm.”

1) The enabling power of God the Holy Spirit.
2) The dynamic power of Bible doctrine, HEB 4:12.

The PPOG is summarized in the believer’s day-by-day residence inside of that plan under the enabling power of the Holy Spirit and momentum from Bible doctrine.

1) The right way is compatible with God’s divine attributes, including His omnipotence.
2) A wrong thing done in a wrong way is wrong.

3) In the PPOG, a right thing must be done in a right way to be right.
4) The right thing done in a right way is the PPOG and the procedure which God has laid down for us in that plan.

5) A right thing can only be done in a right way through the utilization of divine power.
6) A right thing done in a right way demands residence inside the PPOG under the enabling power of the Spirit, and momentum from metabolized doctrine.

7) A right thing done in a right way comes from the perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine.
8) A right thing done in a right way demands two basic factors.

a) You must have your right pastor-teacher communicating every aspect of the mystery doctrine of the Church-age, including your invisible assets, the problem-solving devices, and how to mechanically execute the PPOG.
b) The positive believer must consistently function in the perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine.

The end does not justify the means unless the means is the function of divine power inside of that plan.

a) You must have your right pastor-teacher communicating every aspect of the mystery doctrine of the Church-age, including your invisible assets, the problem-solving devices, and how to execute mechanically the PPOG.

b) The positive believer must consistently function in the perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine.

The end does not justify the means unless the means is the function of divine power inside of that plan.

Both cause and effect, antecedent and procedure, means and end must comply with the use of God’s power confined to life inside the PPOG.

ZEC 4:6 “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts.

MAT 22:29 But Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures, or the ‘power’ of God.”

ACT 1:8 but you shall receive “power” when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.

Anyone can say anything, however it is the power that they function under which determines the legitimacy of what they say.

PHI 3:10 That I may “know him” and the “power” of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;
1TH 1:5 For our gospel did not come to you in “word” only, but also in “power” and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction;

2TI 1:8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, or of me His prisoner; but join with me in suffering for the Gospel according to the “power” of God,

2PE 1:3 Seeing that His “divine power” has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the epignosis knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

1. Procedure = a particular “way” of accomplishing something.
2. Procedure also means a “series of steps” followed in a regular definite order.

a. Name your sin to God, 1JO 1:9.
b. Isolate it, HEB 12:15.
c. Forget it, PHI 3:13.
d. Keep moving, PHI 3:14.
e. Stay on the playing field, 2Jo 8-9.

3. Procedure implies that there is a method, a policy, a process, a strategy, and a technique.

4. In the spiritual realm, procedure implies persistent and consistent living inside of God’s plan for your own life.

5. Procedure also demands understanding and utilization of the problem-solving devices.

6. Procedure results in execution of the PPOG through the perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine.

7. Procedure results in the manufacture of invisible heroes which is the only way to glorify God in this dispensation.

8. Procedure demands dependence on divine power rather than on any form of human power or the energy of the flesh.

9. This procedure, the PPOG, is the only place and the only way for the utilization of divine power for the fulfillment of God’s plan and the glorification of God.

The filling of the Spirit is the means and the perception and metabolization of doctrine results in the momentum by which we execute God’s plan.

The believer who flunks the procedure test functions in Satan’s cosmic system.

Learning God’s procedures is especially hindered by the two great enemies of the Christian: Ignorance and arrogance.

2TI 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling “accurately” the word of truth.

DEU 32:4 His work is “perfect”
PSA 19:7 - the doctrine of the Lord is “perfect”
ROM 12:2 - the will of God is “perfect”
1CO 13:10 - the completed canon of Scripture is perfect
JAM 1:25 - the perfect law

If your pastor is not accurate in what he teaches then you will not have the accurate information needed to live in the PPOG.

PSA 119:7 I shall give praise to Thee with integrity of heart “when” I learn your doctrines.

Details are given precisely and accurately as a part of the word of God to reveal to us the importance of a right thing being done in a right way!

HEB 8:5 Just as Moses was “warned” by God when he was about to erect the tabernacle; for, “See,” He says, “That you make all things according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain.”

Accuracy did and should exist in the tabernacle of God; therefore how much more in us, who have become the tabernacle of God?

REV 21:3 Behold the tabernacle of God is set up among men, and He shall dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be among them.

1CO 3:16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

JER 49:20; JER 50:45 - Therefore hear the “plan” of the Lord!

JER 18:12 We are going to follow “our own plans,” and each one will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.

The “predesigned” plan of God refers to the subject of predestination.

Predestination is the “provision of a plan” from the sovereignty of God for you in eternity past to execute His plan, purpose, and will for your life.

If God is going to deposit all those fantastic blessings in escrow for you and then “will” them for you, He must provide a way for you to fulfill the conditions for receiving those blessings.

Under predestination, God provided everything you need to execute His plan, the PPOG, the only game plan for the Church-age.

What we call the PPOG in time is from the divine viewpoint of eternity past called predestination.

a. Predestination means that there is a plan perfectly designed for you.

b. Predestination means the possession of your very own personalized and individual plan -
ROM 8:29 “He also predestined us to be conformed to the image of His Son.”

c. Predestination means royalty. The believer is Royal Family of God, EPH 1:5.

1) The directive will of God which directs believers and unbelievers to function in a certain way.

2) The permissive will of God in which God permits the function of free will in opposition to divine commands.

3) The overruling will of God in which God prevents people or nations from destroying themselves.

(a) Bible doctrine is the absolute authority for the statement of divine policy.

(b) Bible teaching from the one with the spiritual gift of pastor-teacher is the authority over the congregation for the communication of Bible doctrine, and therefore the clarification of God’s plan, purpose, and will for your life.

You are designed to learn under authority and that authority is related to the local church with the pastor as the final authority.

(c) The volition of the royal priest in the privacy of his priesthood is his own authority over his life.

God relationship over people relationship.

The use of divine power and the shedding of human power in the execution of the Christian life.

“Make excuses” - pres-mid-inf - paraiteomai = refuse by making excuses.

It is wise to direct your anger towards problems - not people; to focus your energies on answers - not excuses.

Present tense - “to make excuses” = this was a habit or a custom on the part of these individuals.

Middle voice = the cares of this world and the details of life are “influencing” these individuals and their priorities and scale of values.

Infinitive = the purpose of the cosmic system which is designed to lure believers away from the PPOG.

Land is not evil or sinful; however, in this particular case, the land is taking him away from having the right priorities and right scale of values; therefore the land becomes sinful.

EXO 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.”

A job or an occupation is not evil or sinful; however, in this particular case, the job or occupation is taking him away from having the right priorities and scale of values.

Cannot - pres-mid-ind - dunamai + “ou” = the wife won’t let him go; he does not have the power or authority to go.

Marriage is not evil or sinful; however, in this particular case, the marriage is taking him away from having the right priorities and scale of values.

Disciple - nominative masculine singular - mathetes = learner, pupil, student, or technical one.
You cannot be a disciple without having a teacher, and you will never develop the right priorities needed to be successful in the PPOG until you find a teacher to instruct you.

Winners make goals; losers make excuses.

Only through daily consistent residence in the PPOG under the power of the Holy Spirit and momentum from metabolized doctrine, the believer is able to understand and establish the right priorities for the execution of the PPOG, be properly motivated, and possess a right scale of values.

JER 49:20; JER 50:45 - Therefore hear the “plan” of the Lord!

JER 18:12 We are going to follow “our own plans” and each one will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.

Disciple - nominative masculine singular - mathetes = learner, pupil, student, or technical one.

You cannot be a disciple without having a teacher, and you will never develop the right priorities needed to be successful in the PPOG until you find a teacher to instruct you.

Priority number one must always be doctrine, and that results in the greatest of all priorities, occupation with the person of Christ.

In God’s authority, doctrine must be first.
In God’s plan, His commands and directions are first.
In God’s purpose, Christ is first.
In God’s policy, grace is first.
In God’s objective, proper motivation and energy is first.
In God’s system, virtue is first.

Christianity emphasizes that there must be right experience with God before there can be right experience with people.

As an expression of your God emphasis over people emphasis, divine power must take precedence over people power.

When the priority battle is lost, the believer becomes a cosmic Christian, functioning under his own human power which is no substitute for divine power.

2CO 5:7 For we walk by means of faith [doctrine in the PPOG].

EPH 2:10 For we are His workmanship [the creation of the new spiritual species], created in Christ Jesus for the purpose of divine good works, which God prepared beforehand [in the PPOG under predestination], that we should walk in them.

PHI 3:17 Brethren, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern [the PPOG] you have in us.
1TH 4:1 You received from us instruction [doctrine concerning the PPOG] as to how you ought to walk and please God.

2JO 1:4 I was very happy to find some of your children walking in truth [the PPOG], just as we have received commandment to do from the Father.

He can choose his own plans, his own dreams, his own desires, or he can choose the plan of God which is a life “beyond all that we ask or think.”

We imply, by choosing our own plan, that we have a better plan than God’s, and that we can do more for ourselves to make us happy than God can do for us to make us happy.

The believer rejects the plan of God when he rejects Bible doctrine.

The believer accepts the plan of God when he makes Bible doctrine his #1 priority in life, and continues his perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine.

The Christian loser is defined as the Church-age believer in Jesus Christ who, through negative volition toward Bible doctrine, has failed to execute the PPOG.

The Christian loser fails to use the power options (the filling of the Spirit and metabolization of doctrine) that have been made available.

The loser is the believer in Jesus Christ who has wrong priorities and spends his life in the cosmic system.

Rejection of one’s right pastor is tantamount to rejection of the mystery doctrine of the Church age.

Instead of becoming an invisible hero, the loser is bored, dissatisfied, preoccupied with self, arrogant, frustrated, distracted, unstable, and unable to utilize the ten problem-solving devices.

In verse 24, TLJC is talking to His disciples.
In verse 26, TLJC is talking about profit not salvation by works.

Verse 27 - when TLJC comes back in the glory of His Father with His angels = not a reference to end of the Millennial reign when the unbelievers would be recompensed, but a reference to the Bema seat judgment for believers only.

We imply by choosing our own plan that we have a better plan than God’s, and that we can do more for ourselves to make us happy than God can do for us to make us happy.

Ashamed = the state of the believer at the Bema seat judgment who is a loser and is embarrassed and ashamed when TLJC comes back, 1JO 2:28.

The believer who chooses God’s plan is a winner, for God “is able to do infinitely more than all we ask or imagine.”

EPH 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

Phase 1 = Christ being formed in your body
Phase 2 = Christ at home in your heart
Phase 3 = Christ being glorified in your body

In each stage of spiritual growth there is an experience of the PPOG.

The Galatians were still in spiritual childhood because they were involved with legalism.

They allowed the Judaizers to come in, and they were now legalistic and went back to their spiritual childhood.

Until Christ is formed in you = S.S.E., the first stage of spiritual growth.

Phase 2 = Christ at home in your hearts.

“In the inner man” = your new man or the new spiritual species.

1JO 2:5 - it is the type of love that can only be developed from the intake of doctrine -
“But whoever keeps His doctrine, in that believer the love of God has truly been matured.”

1JO 4:20 - this love has respect for the Royal Family of God - If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

1JO 5:2 - it is the type of love that motivates love for doctrine - “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and observe His doctrines.”

2JO 1:6 And this is virtue-love that we walk according to His doctrines. This is the command, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it [PPOG].

“To be put to shame” = failure to glorify God.

Christ being exalted or glorified in my body = the attainment of spiritual maturity and the resultant glorification of TLJC.

“For me living is Christ” = the ultimate experience of the PPOG and spiritual maturity, all of which results in the glorification of TLJC.

The importance of understanding predestination, the preciseness of the plan, the procedure of the plan, the power in the plan, the perfection of the plan, the priorities in the plan, the purpose of the plan, and the policy of the plan.

Preposition kata + accusative singular noun zelon = with reference to zeal.
Zelon connotes religious activism, the function of the arrogant skills.

The sad thing today is that the majority of born-again believers are involved with religious activism because they have rejected the PPOG.

ROM 10:2 a zeal for God, but not in accordance with epignosis knowledge [metabolized doctrine].

Paul was a very moral person, but living morally is not the Christian way of life.

Morality is adherence to a moral system which produces a human righteousness, but the Christian way of life is a super-natural way of life executed by the Holy Spirit.

There is a great difference between the virtue produced by God the Holy Spirit and the morality produced by the law.

GAL 1:13 For you have heard of my former manner of life in Judaism, how I used to persecute the church of God beyond measure, and tried to destroy it;

ACT 8:3 But Saul {began} ravaging the church, forcing himself into house after house; and dragging off men and women, he would put them in prison.

In the word of God, the worst of all sins are the motivational sins related to arrogance.

The first of the arrogant skills is self-justification: whatever you do you must justify it. Self-justification leads to self-deception.

GAL 6:3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

Self-deception eventuates in self-absorption.

“Gain” = noun - kerde = his great success standards from Judaism which he attained as a young man.

When a person believes in Jesus Christ and carries over all of those success standards, they are handicapped in ever fulfilling the PPOG because they want to use human power, human dynamics, the very thing that made them successful.

There is nothing wrong with success, but when success turns you away from the priorities of the spiritual life, you are in trouble and you will never get out.

“Those things” - demonstrative pronoun “tauta” = the pre-salvation standards of success, the celebrityship of Saul of Tarsus.

“For the sake of Christ ” - “dia ton Christou” = because of the Christ.
Count - pres-mid-ind - hegoumai = to consider, to conclude, to think, to regard as.

“Rubbish” - accusative plural noun skubala - a hapox legomena; it occurs only once in the New Testament.

Skubala is used as a metaphor - an application of a word or a phrase to an object or a concept it does not literally denote, in order to suggest a comparison with another object or concept.

The apostle Paul is equating his past accomplishments as a celebrity with “dung” or “excrement.”

Skubala = dung or human excrement; the King James version translates it correctly as “dung.”

The basis of this dramatic change is that he could identify all of his fantastic successes as “skubala, dung, excrement.”

The New American Standard says the word means “rubbish.” The American Standard Version says “refuse.”

Some go into the kitchen and say that skubala means “left-overs” or “scraps from the table,” or “what is thrown to the dogs” - anything to get around the word “human excrement.”

1SA 25:21 “He [Nabal] has returned to me evil for good. So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.”

Dr Fredrick Lang, says that, “Skubala means excrement or dung” and then quotes the Septuagint where skubala occurs only once - “It is used for lumps of manure remaining in the sieve to illustrate the refuse, impurity, and wickedness in the mind of man.” Dr Lang goes on to say, “Only with hesitation does literature seem to have adopted it from popular speech.”

“The choice of this vulgar word used by the apostle stresses the force and totality of this renunciation.”

“The intensification lies in the elements of resolute turning aside from something worthless with which one will have nothing more to do.”

The apostle Paul said in effect, “I will have nothing more to do with something that is worthless” - which is my plans, my goals, my power, my talent, my ability!!!

“Skubala” = what human power, human celebrityship, human ability, and human talent is when we try to enter it into the PPOG.

Skubala - used for the values of a celebrity who operated in human power and his own plan and not the plan of God!

Josephus tells us that the inhabitants of Jerusalem, during the famine when the city was besieged by Titus, had to search sewers and dung [skubala] for something to eat.

An American who also dealt with skubala in an objective way is Dr Homer Kent Jr. who was the president of Grace Theological Seminary. “The etymology of skubala, how the word originated, is uncertain” - no one has really given the etymology of the word in the English.

Dr Kent - “If Paul is understood to be rising to the crescendo in his explanation, replacement of ‘loss’ with a bolder term denoting dung, would not be unlike him.”

Skubala [the “s” word] or dung or human excrement is a great description of human greatness which represents human power and human dynamics.

The plan of God from the viewpoint of eternity past - known as predestination.
The plan of God from the viewpoint of the believer in time - known as the PPOG.

There never was a problem in your life for which God did not provide perfect solutions in eternity past as a part of His plan, EPH 3:14ff.

His title, King of kings and Lord of Lords, the bright and morning star, is the title of His strategic victory in the dispensation of the hypostatic union.

From the day of Pentecost until the Rapture of the Church a Royal Family is being formed by the regeneration of anyone who believes in Christ, called the Church.

EPH 3:16 - awareness of our problem-solving devices from two viewpoints: from the viewpoint of our portfolio of invisible assets and from the viewpoint of the function of spiritual power, in which the power of God is utilized and human ability is set aside.

EPH 3:17 - Paul introduces awareness of problem-solving devices through doctrinal orientation, personal love for God the Father, and impersonal love for all mankind.

EPH 3:18 - introduces awareness of the function of the ten problem-solving devices en toto under one word - width. Platos - width = the unlimited power of the PSD’s.

EPH 3:19 - introduces awareness of the greatest of all problem solving devices - occupation with Christ.

What he is praying for is your awareness, so you can use the option of your free will to live your very own spiritual life.

You cannot offer prayer to coerce a person’s volition, but you can offer prayer that God will make a person aware of certain things, such as the Gospel and Bible doctrine.

Paul is praying that all believers will become aware of God’s plan for their lives, its problem-solving devices, and the fantastic happiness God offers.

You must be aware of the fact that God has a plan for your life, revealed in detail in the New Testament scriptures, and nothing is left out.

Awareness of the power of God’s plan comes with learning about the ministry of God the Holy Spirit controlling your soul and providing the spiritual I.Q. for the positive believer.

Maximum Bible doctrine circulating in your soul increases awareness of the content of your portfolio, changes your values, and gives you the power of the divine capital that God has provided in that portfolio.

ROM 9:23 “That He might make known the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for His glory.”

ROM 8:28 And we know therefore, that to those who love God

Kletos = to be elected to privilege or appointed.

“According to a predetermined plan”

Grace says, God not only did the work, but He did the work in eternity past.

God the Father did His work for us in eternity past.
God the Son did His work for us at the cross, in time at the First Advent.
God the Holy Spirit does His work for us in the enabling power for us in time in the PPOG.

ROM 8:28 - election, foreknowledge, predestination, justification, and glorification.

God the Father worked on your behalf long before creation existed, and when you realize that, it makes all of your problems, and all of your difficulties, all of your trials rather petty.

Omniscience is the input, foreknowledge is the output; nothing can be foreknown until it is first of all decreed.

ROM 8:29 Because whom He has foreknown, He has also predestined, conformed ones to the image of His Son, that He, Jesus Christ, the Son, might be the firstborn among many brethren.

The firstborn must be understood in the time in which it was written =
1) A ruler
2) A family priest
3) The double portion.

Double portion - Jews and Gentiles alike are one in Christ, in this dispensation.

ROM 8:30 And whom He predestined, the same ones He has elected to privilege, furthermore whom He has elected to privilege these same ones He also justified.

ROM 8:31 face to face with these things,

We have had them enough now to understand the escrow, election, predestination rationale.

ROM 8:31 Therefore face to face with these things,

To what conclusion are we forced?

If God is for us - the prothesis of a first class condition = “and He is”

Here are three things escrow, election, predestination.

Foreknowledge = He was thinking about you, and the printout of foreknowledge means that this happened in eternity past.

Long before He created the universe He thought about you and then in election He willed the highest and best for you: category one - escrow blessing for time, category two - escrow blessing for eternity.

Then He gave you each a privilege: He made you a priest; He gave you union with Christ, positional sanctification. He made you Royal Family of God, He gave you equal opportunity, and He gave you logistical grace in eternity past.

Positive volition persisting, you will be a winner.
Negative volition resisting, you are going to be a loser.

The importance of awareness concerning the plan of God from the viewpoint of eternity past known as predestination or in time the PPOG.

Awareness of the power of God’s plan comes with learning about the ministry of God the Holy Spirit controlling your soul and providing the spiritual I.Q. for the positive believer.

EPH 1:6-7 To the praise of the glory of His grace, which grace He freely bestowed on us in the beloved [Jesus Christ], on the basis of the riches of His grace.

EPH 1:18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, attaining all the riches from full assurance of understanding resulting from metabolized doctrine of the mystery of God - the mind of Christ.

1) You have to live your life in the light of eternity, not in the darkness of the past.

To live your spiritual life now, you have to live it in the light of eternity past as well as the eternal future.

PSA 84:3 The sparrow also has found a house, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, Even Thine altars, O Lord of the armies, My King and my God.

The resting place for God’s people is found not in the provisions of the world or cosmic materialism but in the place where doctrine is taught.

He allows friends, family, loved ones, and others to guilt and manipulate him into action.

For this type of individual, conforming to society and pleasing others is more important than the fulfillment of his personal sense of destiny.

He is afraid of what others might say if he makes wrong decisions or identifies with those whom society ostracizes or others reject.

Such as doctrine and rejection by family and friends, or family and friends and rejection of doctrine.

Will family responsibility be more important to this man than following TLJC?

Is fulfilling God’s plan for my life, my personal sense of destiny, more important to me than the most intimate ties in my life?

His problem is not negative volition toward Bible doctrine as such; this is why he is called a disciple.

His problem is that his lifestyle is one of placing his relationship with people over the PPOG for his life.

PHI 3:14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Adverb - proton = the adverb of priority.

He must get to the funeral because of what “people” might say. He even thinks our Lord might think evil of him if he leaves, so he seeks to be excused.

This is not the indwelling of Christ which occurs in the body as the Shekinah glory, but is Christ dwelling in the right lobe of your soul.

Doctrine is the mind of Christ, 1CO 2:16, and Christ is at home in your soul where His thinking is resident.

Christ being at home in the right lobe of the soul is the ultimate problem-solving device.

EPH 3:18 that you may utilize the power to grasp the idea with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth.

The importance of becoming aware of your very own portfolio of invisible assets, including your own spiritual life.

Everything in temporal life is borrowed, that is, family, friends, loved ones, material possessions, power, fame, etc.

JOB 1:21b "Naked I came from my mother's womb, And naked I shall return there. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord."

A) Your spiritual life.
B) You have the production skills to manifest divine good.
C) You have escrow blessings for time and eternity.

EPH 3:18 that you may utilize the power to grasp the idea with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth.

Once you have metabolized doctrine and have it circulating in the soul, the next thing is to direct it toward the four dimensions of doctrine.

“With all the saints” - prepositional phrase “Sun [with] pasin [all] tois [the] hagiois [saints]”

“Sun” - in the company of, together with = this preposition emphasizes the communication of doctrine in a “public” assembly in the company of or together with the saints.

“Sun” is of great significance because it emphasizes the communication of Bible doctrine in a public assembly.

4. They have been faithful and consistent in the function of perception, metabolization, and application of Bible doctrine and many of them are spiritually mature and are breathing down the pastor’s neck.

They rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep, 1CO 12:26.

5. No congregation can exceed the growth of its pastor.
6. Because they have avoided reversionism.

A highly desirable person is one who while carnal has avoided reversionism.

He rebounded in a very serious way at least three times, because we have three different rebound Psalms, and in two of these rebound Psalms he was also under heavy divine discipline at the moment, but he was still a supergrace believer.

Where sin will not destroy the soul, reversionism will.

Going back to the word of God itself, the believer who says he does not sin anymore is a liar and doctrine is not in him, 1JO 1:10.

7. They reach supergrace and are now ready to follow their pastor into no man’s land and advance to ultra supergrace, and for this reason they will be the basis for the pastor’s highest decoration, the wreath of glory.

We have now noted the plan of God from the viewpoint of eternity past, known as predestination, and the plan of God from the viewpoint of the believer in time, the PPOG.

The PSD’s strengthen us in the inner man or the new creature.
They keep us going on and going forward and help solve the problem with the OSN.

EPH 3:17 - Paul introduces awareness of problem-solving devices through doctrinal orientation, personal love for God the Father, and impersonal love for all mankind.

Platos - width, not breadth = the unlimited power of the PSD’s.

EPH 3:19 introduces awareness of the greatest of all problem-solving devices - occupation with Christ.

Prepositional phrase - “with all the saints” = emphasizes equality of all believers of the Church-age.

“With all the saints” = “Sun [with] pasin [all] tois [the] hagiois [saints]”

“Sun” = in the company of, together with, in association with, along with, accompanied by, to sit beside with,
in fellowship with.

Since they have only one article, they refer to the same thing in a different way with a different emphasis.

EPH 3:18 - the four dimensions are all talking about the same thing.
They refer to God’s plan, will, and purpose for every Church-age believer.

The four dimensions emphasize the fact that God has provided the means of victory for every believer becoming a winner, an invisible hero, following the precedence of the humanity of Christ in the dispensation of the Hypostatic union.

Our Lord did not sin while bearing our sins. His problem-solving devices prevented outside pressure from breaking into His soul.

Breadth - platos = width [TCNT] = the great extent of something.

Breadth/platos = the function of the defense line of your soul, made up of the ten problem-solving devices, designed to prevent the outside pressures of life from becoming the inside pressures of stress in the soul.

The application of this word as it relates to the PPOG = the defense line of your soul, made up of the ten problem-solving devices, designed to prevent the outside pressures of life from becoming the inside pressures of stress in the soul.

Length - mekos - greatness or magnitude = the pre-designed plan of God for your life with metabolized doctrine circulating in the soul through the filling of the Spirit.

Mekos = knowing the plan of God from the viewpoint of eternity past, the angelic conflict, and dispensationalism.

Height - hupsos = execution of the PPOG and reaching the height of supergrace, becoming an invisible hero, and having an impact on those around you.

It refers to the execution of the PPOG, becoming an invisible hero, the conveyance of escrow blessings for time and eternity, and glorifying God in the historical phase of the prehistoric angelic conflict, therefore reaching the “high ground” of spiritual maturity.

Height - hupsos = such things as the fantastic “spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ,” EPH 1:3.
Height - hupsos = the fantastic power made available for every Church-age believer, EPH 1:19-20.
Height - hupsos = our position in Christ and our union with Him, EPH 2:4-7.
Height - hupsos = where the glorification of God in the angelic conflict takes place which is in “heavenly places,” EPH 3:10; EPH 6:12.

Depth - bathos = our very own portfolio of invisible assets, the fantastic riches of God, the deep things of God and the spiritual warfare that a believer must be aware of.

This word is used, REV 2:24, to describe the “deep things of Satan.”
