God Is Looking for One Person—Could It Be You?

Jun 23, 2026    Pastor Robert R. McLaughlin

God is not looking for a crowd—He is looking for one willing believer who will stand in the gap.

In this powerful message, Pastor Robert McLaughlin examines the personal sense of destiny through Ezekiel 22:30 and the calling of Moses in Exodus 3–4. Moses had once rushed ahead of God’s timing, failed, retreated into insecurity, and eventually resisted when God called him again. Yet his past failure did not cancel God’s plan for his life.

This message reveals some of the most common obstacles that keep believers from moving forward: fear of failure, rejection, ridicule, inadequacy, insecurity, and the belief that someone else is more qualified. But God’s answer remains the same: His power is greater than our weakness, His timing is perfect, and His grace is sufficient.

You do not have to be perfect, impressive, eloquent, or fearless to be used by God. You simply need to stop making excuses, trust His power, and be willing to take the next step of faith.

Your failures do not disqualify you. Your limitations do not define you. God can still use your time, talent, treasure, spiritual gift, and personal testimony to bring glory to Jesus Christ.

The question is not whether one person can make a difference.

The question is: Will you be that one person?
