Abraham Was in God's Will… Until He Made THIS Mistake | Dispensations Part 33
ABRAHAM WAS IN GOD'S WILL… UNTIL HE MADE THIS MISTAKE!
Can you be in the right place, doing what looks like the right thing, and still be moving away from God's plan for your life?
Abraham did. And what happened next should be a wake-up call to every believer.
Abraham was a man of faith. God had given him incredible promises, directed his steps, and brought him into the land of Canaan. He was building altars, worshiping God, and seemingly doing everything right.
But something was happening beneath the surface.
Abraham began moving away from where God had directed him. What started as spiritual neglect eventually led to fear, deception, and a shocking decision that placed his own wife, Sarah, in danger.
And here's what makes this lesson so powerful: Abraham wasn't an unbeliever. He was a believer making decisions outside of God's plan.
In Dispensations Part 33, Pastor Robert R. McLaughlin takes us into Genesis 12 to reveal some important principles about the Christian way of life:
Why being in the right place doesn't guarantee spiritual obedience.
How the people and possessions we love can become distractions from Bible doctrine.
The dangerous progression from neglecting God's Word to rejecting His guidance.
Why prosperity doesn't always mean spiritual success.
How fear and wrong motivation can lead even mature believers into failure.
Why God examines the motivation of the heart, not merely our outward actions.
One of the most powerful principles in this message is: "To have is nothing unless doctrine is everything."
You can have wealth, relationships, success, and everything the world calls happiness, but without Bible doctrine as your priority, those things cannot provide true spiritual fulfillment.
And remember, Abraham's failures were not the end of his story.
If the father of our faith could fail, recover, and continue forward in God's plan, there's an important lesson here for all of us.
The question isn't simply whether you're in the right place.
The question is: Are you making the right decisions while you're there?
Watch Dispensations Part 33 with Pastor Robert R. McLaughlin and discover why your spiritual direction, your motivation, and your daily decisions matter more than you may realize.
