Why Satan Hates the Promises God Made to Israel | Dispensations Part 27
What does true freedom really look like?
In Dispensations Part 27, Pastor Robert McLaughlin continues the study of the Dispensation of Promise by turning our attention to Abraham, spiritual freedom, biblical authority, and the promises of God.
This message explains an important principle: freedom without authority leads to anarchy, while authority without freedom leads to tyranny. True spiritual freedom is found in the truth of the Word of God. As believers, we have freedom in Christ, but that freedom is never meant to become an excuse for the flesh. We are called to grow in doctrine, use our spiritual gifts, serve one another, and live as responsible believer-priests before God.
Pastor also traces the promises of God through Abraham and the Jewish people, showing how the biblical account of redemption moves toward Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of God’s covenants. He discusses the spiritual conflict surrounding Israel, the attempts throughout history to frustrate God’s plan, and the importance of understanding the enemy behind spiritual deception.
Throughout the message, believers are challenged to know what they believe, understand the Word of God for themselves, and always be ready to give an answer for the hope that is within them. Spiritual maturity requires more than simply hearing truth. Jesus said that those who continue in His Word are truly His disciples, and that knowing the truth brings freedom.
The message ultimately points us back to Jesus Christ, the only Savior, and reminds us that salvation is received by faith in Him alone. From there begins a life of learning, growing, discerning truth from deception, and advancing in God’s plan.
