40 GIFTS @ SALVATION - INDWELLING TRINITY 3. BIBLE STUDY GROUP

Mar 31, 2026    Joseph Ganhadeiro

Okay, so welcome everyone. Once again, we are here to hear the word of God. And we've been studying the indwelling of the Father, the Son, and next week we're going to talk about the Holy Spirit. And, we're talking about the invisible assets that we receive at the moment of salvation—assets meaning benefits that God has given us. All through His grace, all through His love, it's amazing as we learn through as we go through this. We learn of all of them and why is this important? Why is this so important that we understand this? It's so important because it tells us who God is, His character. All right, it lets us know His integrity. And once and I always say this once we understand all of that, what happens? We fall in love with Him.

We have that personal love for Christ, and that's the goal. That's why it is absolutely important that we continue to go through this, That we continue to review this because I want it to be ingrained in you. I want it to be second nature. All right? I always use the example: when you eat, You don't think about picking up your fork and then getting into the food and then bringing it to your mouth ;. It just comes natural. We do it every day. That's what I hope and pray that the Word of God would review, and little here or a little there, it becomes ingrained in us. And it just we automatically go to rebound, we automatically go to trade for a drill. It becomes natural, second nature. We just do it automatically; it's part of us. Make sense? Right? Okay, but let's start like we always do; let's take that moment of silence.

Because in First John one nine Bible says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness." Let's do that. Alex, you said you wanted to open up in prayer. Brother, go ahead. You got to call it in because. To listen, the machine has to listen. Open up in prayer for us, please. Father God, in the name of Yeshua the Christ Jesus, we all are here. For your word says, "Wherever I have one two three your presence is here. " Lord Jesus and your word says in one John, one nine You confess our sins to you, ;, you faithful and just to forgive us."

And cleans us from all unrighteousness. We all here, Father, open our understanding spiritually, our eyes and physically. Father, we're here to hear your words. We're here to hear the truth because there's no place for us. There's no place in this world for us. We thank you so much, Father God and then among Jesus Christ we have our. Spiritual father and teacher, Brother Joe here, speak through him to us, Lord Jesus. I was to submit to every word that he says, ; every word that you speak through him to us, Lord Jesus. We thank you so much. I was a silence listening in the way in your will, not on our own way.

In Jesus' mighty name, we thank you so much, Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Alex. That was beautiful. Appreciate that. Thank you so much for that. Okay, So today, we're going to finish yesterday's study of the indwelling of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Okay, um, so we'll recap a little bit of what we did yesterday and. Hopefully, we'll get this done today. Hopefully, and then next week, next Tuesday, you are all invited again. We will be studying the indwelling of the Holy Spirit because we have to remember : right? The Trinity God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. God the Father has his role; the Son also; and then of course, the Holy Spirit. The Father is the author, the planner; Holy Spirit is he executes God's plan.

And of course, the Holy Spirit gives us the power to execute the plan. Okay, does that make sense? Yeah, right. Very important that we understand that most Christians know that we we that what the day that we are saved, That we trust Christ, the Savior and the Holy Spirit and the Trinity to be indwelled in us. Right? Most Christians let me rephrase that most Christians Know that when we trust Christ as our Savior, that God the Holy Spirit came to indwell in us. But most Christians do not realize that at the same time, God the Father and God the Son also came to indwell in us. We hear about the Holy Spirit all the time, But most Christians don't understand or don't know that both the Father and the Son also at the moment of salvation will indwell in us. Okay, so um.

Where, we let's let's kind of recap a little bit what we talked about yesterday. We talked about yesterday at the moment of salvation, every believer becomes indwelt by the second person, of the trinity, our lord and savior jesus christ and he has a specific purpose. Okay like we just said he's the executioner of the plan of god. Christ indwells in to believer in order to make evident his glory in us. Okay this is accomplished in the life of The maturing Christian or believer, as he exhibits the character of Jesus Christ, see that's what happens when we exhibit the character of Jesus Christ. We are His vessel, His hands, His feet, His mouth. He uses our body to execute the plan of God. Right? And because it's His plan, because it's Christ the executioner.

Because it's the power of the Holy Spirit, it's His. He supplied it, He gave it, He gets glorified. It has nothing to do with us; it's all through Him. Okay, Of course, when I say has nothing to do with us, meaning that we don't do the work ; He did the work. It's through our volition, right? Our will that we allow God to use us right? And we are aligned with all of them ;. We're in unity.

With the Trinity, okay. We also talked about our objective as Christians was to allow God the Father to glorify His Son by pouring out fantastic blessings on us. Okay, as we move through the spiritual life on our way to maturity, our capacity to receive blessing from God increases. The increase in capacity sets the potential. We talk about this word "potential" all the time, right? It is your will; the potential is there. We talked about equal privilege, equal opportunity. Every one of us has the same equal privilege and same equal opportunity, giving us the potential through your will of glorifying Christ as the indwelling Christ. He provides encouragement and confidence. We kind of went over encouragement; we went into scriptures yesterday. Christ indwelling serves as a great encouragement for every believer.

Knowing that we have the same destiny as our savior should give us a relaxed mental attitude and present for the present. And of course, the future. Okay, once we understand his indwelling, that we are being encouraged by him, it makes you gives you that sense of peace. Relax, relaxed mental attitude. Okay, now I love this. Christ was tempted by Satan and remained sinless by utilizing the power of the Holy Spirit. We talk about that and we hit that point all the time. It was this life, remember, it was Christ's life that tested and proved. He proved it; it was Christ that did it, And that became our example of how to proper execute the Christian way of life. Christ now indwells in the believer in order to what glorify Him.

And he was the only human being who deserved it. He was the only human being that could have done it by an act of our will. We, too, can bring glory to Christ by allowing the Holy Spirit to produce the character of Jesus Christ in our lives. God is glorified; Jesus is the standard to which we aspire as believers. There is no place for discouragement to the Christian way of life. Or executing the Christian way of life, God has given us all the necessary tools. Everything has been provided by Him. Every tool that we need to execute His plan is given by Him, but we must have the knowledge of it. We must know it, and of course, we gain all of this through Bible doctrine—spending time with Him, building our relationship with Him, falling in love with Him.

I know I stress this point to you guys all the time. There is nothing more important than love. God talks about it when He hands out the gifts, And Paul mentions it when He hands out the gifts that all the gifts are wonderful, but all those gifts without love really doesn't mean anything. Love is very, very important, okay? And once we fall in love with Christ. Oh my god, the door has just opened. The blessings just pour in. We do everything and anything to please him because that's what happens when we fall in love. I've used the example with husband and wife, I've used the example with boyfriend and girlfriend, meaning that when you first meet a girl or man, whatever it may be, that you may be attracted to them but only when you know them, when you spend time with them is when you fall in love with them.

Same thing, just an analogy. Same thing with Christ. Once we know who He is, what He has done, And then knowing our position who Who He placed us to be meaning that we know that we're royal family, we know and understand that we've been adopted. Once we understand those those things that God has has done for us. It just expands your thought of him, okay? That's what happens, right? You fall in love with him because you see what he has done for us exactly. You fall in love with him because you know his character, his integrity, and never changing is his character, right? He never changes and he's love; he's truth.

That's what I mean. Once you understand all of these things and it becomes part of you, we have that personal love for Christ. We talked about motivation yesterday: how Christ is our motivation, right? The indwelling of Christ also provides motivation for the execution of the Christian way of life. Our personal love for Jesus Christ should motivate each of us to do our best to bring Him the glory, okay? When we fall in love with Him, that's what happens.

The unmotivated life, dishonors our savior and brings shame to us at the judgment seat of Christ. We talked about the judgment seat of Christ yesterday. We talked about it in detail, okay? When a believer, we all know that we're saved, okay? We have eternal security. We have eternal life. We understand that nothing can change that, okay? We trust and believe what the work that Christ did on the cross. He said it was finished. It is finished. Nobody Not you, not even he can change it. It's been done. Okay, so what happens now? We have to live, we have to walk by the spirit. That's how we glorify him. We're taking what he has given us, the tools that we have. We tap into that system, that way of thinking, that divine thinking.

And then, once we do that, we glorify Him. That's the Christian way of life. I used numerous examples yesterday of that. Okay, when you are in tribulation, when you are in pain, when you are going through rough times, your emotions come into play. happens all the time; fear sets in, anxiety sets in. We are human beings; those are the things that happen. But God has provided a system and He tells us: Don't worry about your feelings. Don't go by your feelings. Don't go by your emotions, because those things will never change the outcome of your pain, of your situation, of your trial. But if you just stand still and you apply my word, Faith, rest, drill rebound, all of these things that we keep teaching that we keep talking about. They're so important because now you are relying on the strength of God.

Not on your own, okay? It's his word; he tells us. If it's written, we know that it's truth. So knowing the truth, we apply the truth, knowing that he has given it to us. Okay, as we do these things, We glorify him because it's his system not ours, ; his way of thinking not ours. Very simple. Unfortunately, I think today. In today's day and age, this is not being taught. We had sermon after sermon after sermon, and many preachers pastors do not speak about this. And that's what he when he says, "You must walk by the Spirit; you must live by the Spirit." That's what he's talking about. He says, "I have provided it now; you apply it." It's your spirit; it's His Spirit walking.

You, what are we doing? We're executing the Christian way of life. That's what happens. It's a tool, and we talked about how Christ, When He lived on this world, okay, when He walked the thirty three years, it was the same power source that He did it in. He had doctrine, he had the power of Holy Spirit. He never once lost fellowship and he does not have a sin nature. We do. We lose fellowship. We have a sinful nature, So God provided a way for us to do the same exact thing that Christ did. He gives us the Word so we can have the knowledge, the understanding. It is written, right? It is written all that's how if you remember when Christ was being tempted, right? What happened?

He answered everything that Satan came and hit him with, and he always referred to Scripture. That right there in itself should give you the absolute confidence because Christ applied it, and it always says it time after time again: "Christ is our example." Christ is our example; it was His way. Now, when He says, "And we see that He was being tempted." And then, what did he do? He answered everything with scripture. That's our understanding, knowing that if it worked for him, why wouldn't it work for us? We are co-heirs with him. You see what I am saying? We're royal family. Remember, God created every human being, but only those that are believers have been adopted to be His children. We talked about.

The language of accommodation, we use the father figure as we know it in the flesh, right? Our physical fathers and his a father is to protect his children, to supply everything for his child. And the Lord holds true to that; He will protect you, He will supply all you need. But you have to rely on Him. And it's sometimes. When you are going through the pain, It's the hardest thing. Sometimes because all of these things are going on in your body, right? Your emotions, your feelings. Oh, but why? And then self pity sets in. And, that is an example of arrogance because you are saying to yourself or you are saying to God, "Lord, your word is just not good enough." That's what ends up happening. Now you have sinned. Remember.

Take short accounts really, really important. Every time you know that you feel that day, you've done that. We're human beings; it happens, but God has provided a system so we can get right back in fellowship. We talked about that yesterday when we quench or grieve the S pirit ;, we lose fellowship and I love it, and it gives me such joy and happiness, knowing that God supplies all things. And then He gave us the rebound technique. Of course, the faith restored to me to get right back in fellowship, to stand still, hold on Him, wait for Him to give you the strength. Now you please remember this: okay, the Bible says that we will have pain. The Bible says that we will have trials. Look what Jesus went through; we could never go through what He went through. So whatever we're going through right now is a whole lot less than what He suffered.

But he applied the same power system, the same power source, and he has taught us that by example. He did it; he went through it. He was a human being, had the same feelings, telling us, "Listen, put all your feelings aside and let me show you. Test me because the outcome with his strength is always much better than what we see." Or with the outcome, I use the example of revenge. We talk about that because that and why do I use that example specifically? I use that example because everybody understands that. Because when somebody does something bad to you or does wrong by you, what do we want? We want revenge. I am going to take care of the situation. I am going to make sure he feels the pain that he has put on me, right?

But God says, "No revenge is mine." See now, that's in the Bible. God says it specifically: "Revenge is mine." Now we're applying His word; He takes care of it. You don't get in trouble because that's what we do—we get ourselves in trouble. And then what happens? Because we applied His word, He gets glorified and He will avenge you. And He does do the avenging ;. It's not maybe in the time that you want, but He knows the right time. He knows when it's the best time. Do you trust him or not? Because if you are not going to trust him there, then you are not trusting him in anything else. See, that's what we have to remember. You can't pick and choose scripture from the Bible and say, "All right, this one I like, so this one I am going to apply." It's either all or nothing. Because then when you pick and choose, You are relying on your own power what you think and not His divine thinking.

Very, very important that we understand that. Remember, Christ gives us the motivation. He gives us the motivation. He gives us the confidence. But you must, must have the knowledge so he can utilize what you have learned. You see what I am saying? For human beings, There is no greater motivation than we talk about this all the time than love. It was love that motivated the humanity of Jesus Christ to die in our place as the penalty for our sin. I know you guys heard me say this, And I am going to say this again, :, if you don't take what Christ did on the cross personal to you, you are not seeing, you are not grasping the whole picture. You must understand that it was supposed to be me. ;. It was supposed to be you on that cross. Okay.

He volunteered. I use the example in a courtroom. You do a crime, you are in front of a judge, okay? The judge says, "Joe, you did the crime, So now you are going to have to do the penalty, whether it's a fine, whether it's go to jail." And then Christ walks in and says, "I'll take his place. Let me do that for him. I will." I will do the crime at that time, right? That's the same thing you have to take that person. And if if that, if that, if you think about that, and if that doesn't give you the unction, right? If that doesn't give you the will to fall in love with him, you are not grasping what he did. It's totally amazing. Think about that. Think about yourself.

Take inventory, put yourself in those shoes and that particular predicament, And someone that you have no idea who he is, just walks in and says, "I will take it. I will do the time for him. I will take his place." Because that's exactly what Christ did for us. He paid the penalty for our sin, and why? Because of love. It was love that motivated God the Father to send Christ. It was the only way to save humanity; had to be done. Now, by knowing His attributes, His essence, we know that He's also justice. And I, we went into justice and propitiation ;. We were justified because He had to satisfy the wrath of G od ;. Somebody had to pay.

He volunteered willingly; it gave him joy to do it. Why? Because of love. But because he did it and he never sinned, walked those thirty-three years on Earth and never once sinned, he gained the righteousness. He went to the cross, paid the price; never sinned once—it was his righteousness. So not all that. Not just that he satisfied the wrath of God, but he also has imputed his righteousness in us—Jesus's righteousness. So we have—we've been justified; we have his righteousness. I want you to think about that. : nothing we could have done to earn that, because God talks about our righteousness and what he thinks about that, and we all know what he says about that in the Word.

The indwelling of Christ pours out His love in our souls as we advance in our spiritual lives, Knowing and understanding the love of God by means of study and application of Bible doctrine. That's our motivation for serving Him. See, you fall in love with Christ now; you want to be pleasing to Him. Now, God says through His Word, "the only way that you can please Me."

Is this book right here? Is gaining knowledge from it. This your manual, your instructional guide. Okay, just like when you put something together, you go to Walmart, you buy whatever and that needs assembly. You follow the manual. This how this goes together. This our manual. This our instructional guide. Okay, but it's a now you have a choice either you're going to follow the instructions. When you put that whatever it is together, Or you are going to do it your way, and it's going to not last and be broken. That's what ends up happening with us when we put when we do it ourselves. Nothing good comes out of it. We become broken, but when we do it His way, It's fixed. He fixes it from within. It's He.

He that does it, you can't do it. We can't do it, but he does it through us in us. And then it's beautiful because we glorify him at the exact same time. We talked about confidence, okay? And the word for confidence in the Greece in the Greek is hypostasis. I can't even say that hypostasis. Thank you, Dave. The same word used by the Hypostatic union of Jesus Christ. The literally meaning for hypostasis is substance, essence, foundation or endurance. Okay, the endurance having the confidence that he will give us the endurance. I always use the example of a race. Okay, we have this journey in life. You were born and then there's an end.

So you have this time period between both, and God gives you this time either to choose Him or choose the enemy. Because this system that we have been indoctrinated since children it's His system, not ours. We're children of G od ;. We want to utilize the tools that He has given us, so we can live in His system, His way of faith.

And then you take nothing with you. So you have this very short, think about this in the in this grand scale of life from the beginning. Think about your grandparents, your great grandparents, and it goes on and on. Right? So they walk that same line, that same race having that same time period their lives. It's a race but it's a marathon. So, it's what we think of it as a long marathon. God says, "Listen, you are going to fail. You are going to mess up. You are going to have pain. You are going to have trials in your life." Apply my system. Take short accounts. Don't feel condemned. He tells us there is no room for condemnation. He says, "Just confess." cite that.

Get right back in fellowship. Get right back into the race. You are racing, you stumble, you fall. You don't end it there; you get right back into that race. You get up and you move again. That's how God explains it; that's the example we have: this race, we have this time to show God to glorify Him. We fall in love with Him, we do everything we can to be pleasing to Him, okay? So we talked about confidence. To stay, the endurance to stay in the race. Jesus Christ is the very essence of G od. ; He is the foundation of everything that we believe is as Christians. That we believe as Christians, His indwelling of the believer gives us confidence and knowledge of Bible doctrine. It is how the believer learns about this confidence and We talked about Hebrews chapter eleven, the faith chapter, right? Yes.

And it talks about hope, and we talked about the Greek word for hope, "elpis, " and how what the Greek means is very different, what the English language means. Right when we hope in the English language, We hope meaning maybe it's going to happen. Maybe maybe I am hoping it is, but I don't know if it is right We're hoping. But in the Greek, it's very specific. It's confident expectations. You know that the word of God is true. You know that He did it. He is our example. We must do it, and the expectations will come true. It's not on our time; it's in His time. Give Him the room to work. It's already been done; it's already been fixed, But you've got to give it the room. He knows when it's best for me and you at some point, and I know that you guys when you pray.

I know that you pray. You say, "Lord, let Your will be done." My will is that Your will gets done. Let Him do it. See, apply that to your life. You are just what's the use of just speaking the words and then not applying it? You are praying for His will to be done. Let His will be done. Hold fast or hold steady.

To the word, let him do what he has told us. Let him do let those promises come about. That's what he tells us, but of course we're human beings; emotions kick in, and then what do we do? We go off on a whole different level, and then the end result is always the same. We talked about how people pay and go see psychiatrists and counselors. This our counselor. We hold to this. This divine thinking, the way, the Christian way of life. This what we hold true to. And if you don't, and I'm not saying that you won't, that you're not going to slip up, but you're in this race get right back in it have confidence.

Jesus was our example, and you know what's amazing to me is when He says, "Test it." He goes, "Go ahead, try it. Watch what happens. In the end, you will be victorious." You do it your way; you will be in trouble. More pain sets in. That's what He says. Are we Christians? Are we going to hold true to Him? Are we going to follow him? Are we going to abide in him as he has abiding in us? See, it's all up to you. God has provided everything; he has done it already. And eternity passed before you were even born ;, he knew every sin before you even committed it. That's why he's provided it for us. So important that we understand that.

Confidence in God brings the believer hope. We talked about hope, okay? Confident expectation through the study and application of Bible doctrine, The believer increases this confidence or this confident expectation for the life and for eternal estate. It is this reality of hope that gives a Christian, a personal sense of destiny. That's one of the ten problem solving devices that we have learned about, right? We have a purpose. We understand that we have a destiny. We know where we're going. It's your personal destiny. All of this is not emotional feelings ;. It's the absolute truth based on our relationship with the indwelling of Christ. Our confidence is not self, but rather Christ.

That's what we have to understand. It's not self; it's him, And all of this unique in this church age, which we live and should be, should be a point of gratitude for us. Think about this church age that we live in right now ;. It's the only time it's so unique to the church, eighty believer, all of history. This the only time that the Trinity. Lives in the human being, the believer now. The only time they didn't have that in the Old Testament; those patriarchs, those invisible heroes. They were invisible back then, but very much visible to us today when we read of them: Moses, Isaiah. They were invisible; nobody even thought of that. But while were they heroes? Look at Joseph. Look at David.

They applied the word of God. They held true to that. They were sinners. Look at Paul; he was a sinner. See, everything in the word is an example for us. God utilized those people and He picked out those people because they were sinners. He says, "Listen, you are not going to be perfect." Look at them; they weren't perfect. Don't feel condemned, but they stood in the race; they held true to the word.

David was an amazing king. His son was an amazing king, but look what happened to him. And he even talks about vanity, vanity, how what this world's about. What was he talking about when Solomon was talking about vanity? What do you think that what he was talking about? He was talking about the cosmic system. That's what he was talking about, right? Satan's system. That you thought was, or that he thought was going to bring him joy, and then he realized, "like Oh my god, what was I doing? Look what it did." Yes, and he had all the money that he could ever have. He could have you guys all know about Solomon's journey right? The wives, The concubines I mean craziness. But all of that All of those things that he considered. And.

He explained to be vanity is part of the cosmic system. That's what he was telling us: "Be aware, use me as the example. Look at me; I am the king. I have everything I could ever want." He never even had to work for any of it, and it meant nothing to him in the end. Vexation—oh, think about it—they gave him vexation exactly, gave him anxiety, gave him. Stress had the best gardens. Had I mean, you name it, had the best of everything. Nobody in history was as wealthy as Solomon. Nobody, not one person. But he explains it so well in the if you haven't read Ecclesiastics, you must take some time.

Dive into that to that book because wow, it makes you realize how empty life is without God. I love his example because he realizes in the end when he's like, "You know what? I had all of these things; they were all beautiful, yes, and none of them meant anything." But in the end, the only thing that I take with me is my God. That's it; that's only thing you are going to take with you. You never see a hearse.

With a trailer hitch, you never do. There is nothing you take with you. There is nothing that you can rent and say, "Put it in my coffin because I am going to have that in heaven." Doesn't happen, but you do take the Word of God with you. You do take Jesus with right So why wouldn't we? Why wouldn't we take the time spend the time in Him? Now I have to say something else.

If, you think that you are going to get all of this by just reading the Bible and not have a pastor teacher that God has given this gift to, to explain it to you, yes, the Holy Spirit explains. He as I preach this word as I teach this word, the Holy Spirit living in you. What is he doing? Right? It's being it's in your soul and he brings it to memory as you need.

You see what I am saying? You start thinking about it, it's like, "Ah, that's right." The word of God says this. But if you just think you are going to read that, you are never going to get that. You don't. You need somebody that has the gift because that's a gift from God. You have your gift ;. I have mine ;. We all have our own gifts, wherever it may be. And my gift is no greater than yours, okay? Your gifts is just as equally important.

Every, one of us has our own gift that the Lord has blessed us with. It's a tool. It's a tool, even that I want you to think about that, the capacity of that right. You have yours, I have mine. What do we do? How do we do it? We express the Christian way of life in our gift wherever it may be. Can I get the verse again? You were just talking about Solomon. Go ahead. That says, "The conclusion that's Ecclesiastes twelve thirteen I love what this verse is very, very important." This is a man that tried everything that you just mentioned, and he said, " T he conclusion when all has been heard is fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person ; for God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden."

Whatever is good, that's how we the conclusion to our life. And you know what's amazing when I've read that over and over again, I want to share this with you because I just realized this right here, right now. See, that's what I mean when God enlightens you at times. Okay, I've read that baby; I don't know how many times. That whole Ecclesiastics do you know that for the first time right now? I realized what everything that all this vanity stuff, all these things were that he had. Was part of the cosmic system. I never even thought about it. I never even clicked. See, but the Holy Spirit reveals things like that to you, and I just got that just now. That's why I just shared it with you. All of that was the cosmic system—the world, His way, Satan's way—is like "I am going to distract you," Solomon; "I am going to give you these things."

I am going to let because you want him so bad, you are going to get him. And I know, watch this now. How many times do we pray for miracles? I want you to go with me on this, right? So here we are. We pray for miracles. Do you realize that sometimes that miracle will ruin your life? I want you to watch this.

Let's say, let's say you you come down with an illness. Okay. Now while you are sick, and you have this illness. You are constantly seeking God, you are praying to Him all the time, you are trying to. Trying to hear Him right. That's what we do right? Think about it now. God. Fulfills your prayer, he has completely taken the illness away; it's gone. So we, in our arrogance, what do we do? I am good, God; you've done the miracle. See you later. That's the story of the ten lepers. You can even break that story; only one of them came back. Think about that; that's a great example. Do you remember the ten lepers?

Only one of them, only one of them be a glory. Only one of them, and there were ten of them, right? Ten, yeah. And one of them says, "Where is the other nine?" That's all they want. That's all they. Oh yeah Lord Jesus please I want to go back to my old life. And I always say this: This book is the healing. Yes This book is the miracle. This book is the miracle One verse that I can add to that, that just beautiful. Why do you think the Bible says, "When you are weak, then you are strong"? Because if you don't have weakness, how are you going to run to God? That's why God gives you all those promises to run to Him. Let me share this with you. You're absolutely right there. So I was praying for this young lady. Okay, she's ill very ill. I was praying for her, and then I said to her, i said, I'm going to ask you a question, and I want you to be honest with me."

I want you to tell me the truth. I said, "If you if everything was going absolutely wonderful in your life, you were healthy, everything was perfect in your life, you had plenty of money, your children are great, you lived in this beautiful. Everything that you had everything I says would you ever once seek God?" and she She just stopped and she goes, "Oh my god, I've never even thought about it like that." You probably not Joe. I says exactly. See, Sometimes God allows things ; God allows them to happen, so you can come go seeking Him. Now I want you to see this. Okay? Let's say let's say you die.

Right, you got sick and you died. God forbid, I am just using this as an example. It shouldn't happen, but hey, right? Let's say you get sick and you die. Now, your rack—you are right there in front of God. I want you to think about this—you are right there with H im—and He says to you, "Joe." If you if I didn't allow you to get sick. You would have never, Been here right now because I allowed that to happen. It was the only way that you could be in heaven with me, and then at that moment, you are going to say, "God, thank you so much that I was sick. Thank you so much that I was in pain. Thank you so much that I was going through all of those things because You knew it ; I didn't see how we trust Him. You knew it, God; that if it wasn't for tha,t last."

I would be on the other side of the Gulf, right? I would be in hell. But what does he do? He allows, unfortunately, some people it has to come to that point, right? I want you to think about that. How true is that when we realize see and you are only going to know this and have knowledge of this is when we die when we're in front of him, and he says, You know how I do it? How I picture it?" I picture this huge screen, and my life just goes right by on the screen, and I am watching it with him. And he's like, "Okay Joe, let's see what you did. Let's see your life." This how I picture it in my mind. I am not saying that's what the Bible says ;. This me as a human being trying to grasp what this means. Okay? So I am sitting there; God's right here. He goes, "All right Joe, your turn. Come on up. Let's see your life." What are you trying to do?

Think about that. I want you to think about that. There's your life going by, and you're watching yourself. And God says, "You see that right there? I allowed that right there because if that didn't happen, you wouldn't be here with me right now." That's when we give Him glory and we say, "Lord, oh my God, Thank You Father because now I will be in eternity with You forever and ever without sickness." Without sadness, without pain, without tribulation, you see it was all worth it. But we don't realize it here now. We can't realize it here now because you are in that situation. But God says, "No, your position Karina bring it to your condition." Right? Take that position and bring it right to this condition right here. So you can understand that. I hope you guys understand what I am trying to say. Right? Does that make sense?

says Joe, "What were you thinking?" That's exactly right, Bobby. That's how I picture it. I swear to God, I am looking at myself watching my movie. It's my movie going by. I am in this race right here and it's going right by in this screen and I am sitting back, just watching myself and I am looking, I am like, "Wow, what a fool! Look what things that i did." Right? Are you sure? Yeah. Oh, But and then Christ comes in watch this yeah And. He says, uh.

He's mine. He's mine. I went to the cross for him. I paid for all of those things. See, that's what I mean by falling in love with him. You see, when you know what he did, you know exactly what he's doing for you. That's wisdom, that's knowledge; these are the principles of his word.

Let's talk about Shekinah glory. Now, yesterday I gave you the meaning of the word Shekinah. Okay, Shekinah means to dwell or settle in. Okay, that's what Shekinah means. During the age of Israel, Jehovah Jesus Christ dwelt in the tabernacle as a temple of God's Shekinah glory His presence. Okay, he dwelt there. It was him in the daytime. He appeared to Israel as a cloud and as a pillar of fire at night. He also appeared as a bright light over the ark of the covenant in the holy of holies. The presence of the pre incarnate Christ guaranteed God's temporal and eternal blessing to the nation of Israel.

Now we see the word pre incarnate. I haven't given it to you yet, but you want to know what it is. Oh, Shekinah. I am sorry; it means to dwell or settle in. You know what I am saying? The presence a place of display. Okay, so it mentions the word pre incarnate. What is the meaning of that? I am going to give you the biblical, let me give you the definition first, and then we'll get into her. Okay? The definition says, "the person of the Son who before taking human nature, meaning becoming Christ. We're talking about Christ here. Right? Yes, an actuality is God man. Before that happened, the God that became Christ was bodiless."

And acted in spiritual capacity. Okay, that's what "in" or "pre-incarnate" means. So, what I am saying is Jesus Christ in the Old Testament was there, but of course He was not in human form. So He appeared to the patriarchs or to the people of back then in other ways, like in the cloud. Like in the fire, does that make sense? An angel, an angel of the Lord. Yes, exactly. David, exactly. Yep, and we're going to get into some of those stories. I promised myself I wasn't going to go too long now. There is a biblical term for that. Okay. And it's called theophany, right? That's the biblical term now. I've also heard it, heard it called.

Christophany. Okay, some people see that. Now let me tell you the definition of both. Okay, Theophany is a biblical or theological term that refers to an encounter with God prior to Christ's incarnation, prior to Christ's birth. Okay, it's an encounter with God prior to Christ's birth. And and some people, like I said, will use the term "yes Christophany," but it's the same thing. Is there any manifestation before he comes as a human being? Theophany actually means God appears, and Christophany means Christ appeared. Does that make sense? Yes, that's the biblical term. So when you read pre.

incarnate, that's what we're talking about. Okay. So let's go into Leviticus. Let's go into a story here. Let's go to Leviticus twenty six eleven, right in the beginning of your Bibles. I know we're short for time, just please bear with me, But I want to finish this today. If you guys will allow me to finish this. You are having too much fun. That's why. Leviticus chapter twenty six, verse eleven. Leviticus chapter twenty six, verse eleven and twelve. Everybody there? It reads: Moreover, I will make my dwelling.

The Shekinah glory of Christ among you, and my soul will not reject you. I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be my people. Okay, Shekinah glory twenty six twelve right? Yeah twenty six twelve right? That was twenty six eleven and twelve eleven and twelve Sorry.

Since we're in the Old Testament, let's go into the book of Judges. Okay, yes, please. Book of Judges, we're going to go into chapter six. We're going to see theophany Christophany in some of these stories. Okay, Six eleven, Now, we're not going to read the whole thing just for sake of time. ;. We're just going to get to a couple of scriptures here. I am sure you guys probably know this story, but let's go to Judges chapter six and we'll start at verse eleven, okay? And it reads, " T hen, the angel of the Lord came and sat under the oak that was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abrazeite." I don't know if I am saying that right.

As, his son Gideon was beating out wheat in the wine press in order to save it from the Midianites, okay. Now, please, as I read, as you read, picture the act in your mind. It makes everything so much clearer. Okay? The movie in your head. Yes, the movie in your head. Exactly. Thank you. The angel of the Lord appeared to him. Okay? This is theophany. okay The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, "The Lord is with you, O valiant warrior." Then Gideon said to him, "O my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And, where are all His miracles, which our father told us about saying Did, not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? " Now I want to stop it right there, and I want to explain this to you.

Now, please, This is what I am talking about when you are reading the Word of God that you slow down. And try to understand what He's saying. Now, I want you to see this story, how it applies in today right here right now. Okay, this man is asking God, "God, where are You? You see my pain; You see what's going on. These people are just trashing us beating us." Where are you? I thought you were the God of miracles. Didn't you? I remember the stories of my ancestors when they said that you led them out of Egypt. How come you are not with me? You see what I am saying. How many times do we say that today when we're in that tribulation? This is a perfect example, even back then now Christ was not in human form, but He came to the rescue.

Right, you see where I you see where it says it there. Let's continue. But. Now the Lord has now, this is him speaking, he's saying, but now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of the Midian. The Lord looked at him and said, " Go in go this or go in this your strength and deliver Israel from the hand of Midian." Have I not sent you? See and then I want you to stop right there. Now he's telling him, "You just go. Haven't I sent you? Please apply that to your life. Don't you know your position? Don't you know the word of God? Have I not been there? Do you see that I am truth? I already told you. I've already given you the blessing. You just have to wait for it."

Don't go on your emotions. Don't go on what you are feeling, even what you are seeing. Look at this man. This man was he had vision, he had visual of all of this going on. He felt it, and he's like, no, hang on have I not sent you It's me. That gives you the strength I am going to give you the power to overtake. You see why it's so important that we play this movie in our mind, right? He said to him, "Oh Lord, how shall I deliver Israel? How can I do it?" Father. Same way Moses used to ask Him. Right? Behold, my family is the least in Manasseh. And I am the youngest in my father's house. See he's already thinking human feelings.

Right, he's thinking in his head, "I have no power. Right, I am the youngest in my household. How am I going to defeat these people?" Isn't that what we think? Isn't that the way we look at things sometimes? Right. But the Lord said to him, "Surely positivity positive that I will be with you and I shall." Defeat the Midianites as one man, verse seventeen goes on and says. So Gideon said to him, "If now I have found favor in your sight, then show me sign that you who speak with me." Now you can look at that scripture and say, "Okay, now I am going to wait for a sign. This a sign. This the word. This a sign." He has proven it over and over again.

He is using the example of the people of old, the patriarchs of old that never saw Christ. Okay. But it is written, it is our example. They were human beings just like we are. They had the same feelings going through, the same pain and God uses them as the example that we know, The Shekinah glory lives within us. See God appeared to them as an angel of the Lord. God is now that's why I say it's so unique. God is now living in you, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. The Shekinah glory back again; He was outside and now He's inside of you. It's a big difference; it's much better. You see how we can light up a room because we have the Word of G od ;. We act different.

We think different. That's light. That's light. You guys know this world, how dark it is. Oh my god, just look around. You know what I am talking about? So, one example, let's do one more example. Let's go to Daniel chapter three, the book of Daniel.

We're going to Daniel chapter three, and we're going to just read two verses. Daniel three, and we're going to go to twenty four. And you all you guys know this story. Daniel chapter three, and we're going to start at verse twenty four. I'll give one more second for Judy over there. It's important that you read it ; it's important that you see it with your eyes, okay? Yes, thank you so much for that. Appreciate it. Okay, Daniel chapter, three, verse twenty four, and it reads : Then Nebuchadnezzar. The king was astounded and stood up in haste. He said to his high officials, "Was it not three men that we cast into the midst of the fire?" They replied to the king, "Certainly, O king." He said, "Look! I see four men."

Loosed and walking about in the midst of the fire without harm, and their appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods. Now, you guys know this story, right? They were ordered into the oven: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Right? And then Christ appeared (theophany) in saving them. Right? Rescuing them right in the fire, inside of the fire. Inside that, oh, see. And why do I use these examples? I use these examples to show you this : that God never leaves us and never forsakes us. And because we know who He is and how He works, what happens? We fall in love with Him. We have that personal love.

Is that a good these these stories good example of theophany? Even in the midst of the fire, even that's what and what is the example for us today? Okay, they were physically in in the oven, physically in the fire. They couldn't touch it. Okay, we we use that example of God saying, "I know your pain. I know what you are going through. I am there with you though." I will rescue you. Apply my word, tap into my system, and then you will get the results and be victorious. Just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. All right, let's talk about capacity for blessing. And I know I skipped the part just for sake of time, unless you guys want me to continue continue.

You want to continue, Karina? All right. Oh man, if you guys are okay with it, I love nothing more than sharing His Word with you guys. Believe me. Please go ahead, man. I love that. Okay and this so important. I am glad you. I am glad you are with me on this. This very important, right? It is no longer necessary for Christ to appear in a cloud or as a pillar by fire. Since he has revealed himself in person of Jesus, the Shekinah glory of God became flesh and dwelt among men. Wow! That's what Hebrews. Yeah, we're going to go to Hebrews. I have to go to Hebrews. Oh, see you are getting excited. Let's go to Hebrews. That's how it should be going? Gonna start it right at verse one, and we're going to go read to verse eleven.

Hebrews chapter eight, verse one. Hebrews chapter eight, verse one. I'll give a just a little bit more time. Okay, we all there? All right. Verse eight, I mean chapter eight, verse one and it reads: Now, The main point in which has been said, is this : We have such a high priest who has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of the majesty in heavens, a minister in the sanctuary and in the true tabernacle. Okay, This tabernacle is not made of hands ;. It's the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man.

For every high priest, every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. I want you to think about that : every high priest is appointed to offer gifts, both gifts and sacrifice. So it is necessary that this high priest also have something to offer. Now, if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, since there are those Who offer gifts according to the law? Okay, verse five: who serve a copy and a shadow of the heavenly things. Okay, what is it saying here? All right, it says here: let's go back. Let's go back up a little bit. It says: who offer the gifts according to the law? Who serve a copy and the shadow of the heavenly things. Okay, it's talking about the law. The law serves.

A copy and shadow of heavenly things, okay? Just, as Moses was warned by God when he was about to erect the tabernacle, for see, He says that you will make all things according to the pattern, which was shown you in on the mountain. But now He has ordained a more excellent ministry. Obtained, I am sorry. And. Now he has obtained a more excellent ministry by as much as he has also, or he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises. See, When it says here, what we just read that the Shekinah glory of God became flesh and dwelt among us, this is what we just read. Okay, away with the old covenant, in with the new covenant. That's a shadow under reality.

That's right. Does that make sense? Okay, Very important : the Lord Jesus Christ indwells in the believer in order to glorify Himself in the life of the believer. See, He uses you; you are His vessel. You are glorifying Him by allowing Him to use you, as with the indwelling of the Father and the Holy Spirit. We must allow Christ to glorify Himself through our lives. We do this as we abide in Him. How do we abide in Him? Short accounts, fellowship, and His Word abides in us. The word for "abide" in the Greek is meno (meno) and means to dwell, to remain, to continue or to tarry. Abide means to be at home with. When Bible doctrine is dwelling in you and you are in fellowship with Christ.

The potential, I use this word again, guys. I throw this word in here all the time because it's up to you. The potential exists to glorify Him through your life. Okay, God will never enforce or impose His will on you in that way. Okay, you must allow it, you must seek Him. But he does make a promise. He says, "If you come knocking on my door, I will open it." You know what I love more? See, I want you to see this. There are people that are more intelligent or have a higher IQ, okay? But God promises this. He says, "I don't care what your IQ is or what you think your IQ is." He says, "You just stay in my word and I the Holy Spirit."

Will teach you the word. See, there is no excuse; you have the same equal privilege, the same equal opportunity, right? So when you say, "Oh, I am just not smart enough," "Oh, I just I can't read," no, no. Please apply the word God says: Hang on! Hang on! Wait a minute! All I want you to do is just take your time; slow it down. Whether it's go to Bible class whether it's Hearing a sermon that will be the teacher for you if you have a hard time reading. That's God's promise to us. It doesn't matter what your IQ is, it doesn't matter what your education is. God teaches you truth, the Holy Spirit does exactly right. Does that make sense? Yes, Very important that we understand that and what I am trying to say very simple and right to the point.

You do not have an excuse. There is no excuse. And John, what you have here, Of course, we already go there that John fifteen one to fourteen as the true vine. We have the sap of Christ going through us, but we have to be connected to Him. Yeah, you guys all read that when God says "I am the vine," God is the vine dresser. Yes, right? That's what John fifteen one to fourteen Please read that on your own just for sake of time. John fifteen, it's on the paper. Judy, see where it says John fifteen verses one through fourteen. Christ is the vine; we are the branches; God is the vine dresser. Okay, So beautiful when you read that—the way he explains it : capacity for blessing ;. The potential for blessing is based on the grace of God.

A blessing is a benefit bestowed upon the believer by God. Why does God bestow benefits upon believers? When God blesses the believer in grace, all the glory goes to Him. I love that. That's why that story of John would be a perfect story to explain this : vine, you know, the branches and the fruit. Because you have to have a vine, then the branches, then what comes after is the fruit. That comes all from the vine. I want you to think about that, right? Now, I don't know if any of you ever had the experience of pruning a grapevine. My dad's Portuguese, of course, and we had a grapevine. And I used to watch him every year prune that grapevine. Why would we prune the grapevine? So that it can grow; give more fruit.

She's right on the money, too. See, when you prune a grapevine, it strengthens the root. It strengthens the vine, okay? And it brings about more branches. The more branches, the more fruit. That's what happens. Does that make sense? Just like just like any fruit tree, you prune it for that reason. That's a beautiful analogy. Yeah, it really is.

If a man is blessed because of watch this. Please guys watch this. If a man is blessed because of his good works, all the glory will go to the man see if you think for one second that you're going to do something to impress god or to show him, god, look what i'm doing. You are dead wrong. That's not what god got. Let's see what the word says. Okay.

Since blessings were given to us in eternity past and based on the grace of God, okay, All of your blessings have been given to you in eternity past before you were even born. You know, I give you nothing that God didn't give it to you. Basically, that's what He's saying. Yes, and you can read of that in Ephesians chapter one verse three. It is impossible for the believer to earn or even deserve the blessings of G od ;. We can't do it. In other words, God does not bless you because of your works. Now, watch this: even if they are legitimate divine production things like witnessing, giving, praying see I want you to think about that. God blesses you on the basis of His righteousness resident in your soul. See what does that mean? See that you are not righteous, but because we have.

The Trinity living in us, and we are righteousness because Jesus did it, not us. That's why you are blessed. We are motivated by Him too. The motivation we already covered, right? We know that we're motivated because of Christ. I am talking about the righteousness resident in our soul ;. It's Him He's. The one that's resident ; He is abode in us, right? To make home with us. This allows God to be just and in keeping with His grace policies, even if you are not living your spiritual life. He gives, He blesses you because it's already been handed out, okay? And it only comes, let me read it as you'll see it. : You cannot coerce God into blessing you by what you do or do not do.

However, however, it is your choice to access these blessings. The way to access divine blessings as a believer in Jesus Christ. It is to increase your capacity to receive blessings, which is also grace function under the filling of the Holy Spirit. Okay, filling of the Holy Spirit. Remember, filling is big difference of dwelling. Filling is taking short accounts being in fellowship. Okay, and remember that the production of divine good itself is a divine blessing. Why? If, you have ever had the privilege of leading a person to faith in Christ, you know that that is true. See, that's the blessing. You have led that person. You see why it's important that we are the light, Karina. You never know who you touch. Okay, you are the light.

You just planted that seed with that person. David comes in, David waters that seed, but only God can make it grow. But by us knowing that we want to be pleasing to God, and we let Him, we allow the Holy Spirit all of the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness gentleness and of course self control. Those are the fruit of the spirit. Those things that comes out of you through Him, He does it exactly. Does that all make sense? Okay, I am just trying to find my study. Okay, you are the one who must choose to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior.

Choose the or choose this not or but you are the one to Christ to trust Jesus Christ as your savior. Choose to study and believe and apply the word of God to your life. You must choose, to allow God the Holy Spirit to control your life, according to God. Accordingly, God is waiting to send blessings to each of us. It is based on your capacity.

The more you know, the more we understand, the more He blesses us. Because why? Why do you think that happens? Think about that. Why does He bless you when you increase your capacity? I want you to think about that. Why? Because you have more knowledge, you have more understanding. So because you have the more knowledge and understanding, He can use you more. In more in different ways, remember we got into the term of experiential sanctification. I gave you the exact meaning of that, right? And what was it to allow Christ or to live as Christ? Let me give you the exact meaning because sometimes I don't come up with the words exactly, and I want you guys to know it in here.

Experiential sanctification, The ongoing life long process by which the Holy Spirit gradually transfers a believer's character, thoughts and action to what to become more like Jesus Christ. Experiential sanctification: the more capacity you have, the more blessings you get because God will bless you because you have more. Knowledge, more understanding, so he can use you more. Does that make sense? You have more of a capacity; you have more knowledge. So he's like Alex: "I can use you here if you allow me to." That's the key; it has to be done that way. And when we do that, we glorify him. I can add another definition for capacity here that I love and I use that all the time : " C apa city is to receive something without changing your life."

That's it, yes. Because I believe everybody said I had capacity, but you give something to them, their mind is already going to the other side. It's like the ten lappers; Chen says, "I want to get what did oh what a wonderful blessing." They run like go tomorrow only one had the capacity. He says, "I am going to use that to glorify God." See, that's the perfect. I always like capacity; it's what you can receive. Without changing your biology, yes, I think it's also like what you said earlier about what you said to the girl who's sick. Yeah, if you had everything you want, would you even be going to God? And kind of like a part of capacity is you receive those things when they like the days that they won't take you away from God. You make me when you have the compassion to enjoy them.

be consumed by the prosperity. Let me put it to you in a different example, okay? You have all this money, or you came upon all this money, okay? But you don't have the capacity to. Okay, you have the money, But you don't have the capacity to make God your number one priority because you're going to get distracted with all the money. You don't understand; you don't have the knowledge; you don't have the capacity. See now if you get all this money and it's a blessing from God. God gave you and allowed that money to come to you because He knew you had the capacity that, that would not distract you. You see what I am saying? And also, I see a verse in Proverbs that says, " G od is the one who makes the rich because He can handle most of the time." Most of them they don't. And God makes the poor; you can handle or cannot doesn't matter. It's not you that makes yourself rich. ;. It's God that does it's You now have the potential to glorify God or glorify self. Yes.

Okay, thank you, brothers and sisters. Anybody? Yes, we're going to end in prayer. We'll do the questions after the prayer so I can close this down. Okay, would anybody like to end in prayer? Karina, would you like to? Honey: Yeah. All right: Father God, We just thank you for having all of us here and fellowship with the Lord. Thank you for the word that I was giving tonight. To study, Lord, and show ourselves approved, Lord. And that we'll be able to abide in you and your presence, Lord. In your word and everything that you have given us—every tool that you have given us—L ord, I just pray that you give us more wisdom, more knowledge, more revelation in your word to understand who we truly are. And um. That all the things that you want to reveal and show us—L ord—we just thank you for it.

Thank you, Lord, for this day. Amen. Thank you, Lord. I'd like to add one two points, Joel.
