God’s Timing Is Perfect — Yours Is Not
The Doctrine of Timing in the Christian Life
This message teaches that timing is a critical problem-solving issue in the Christian life, and that true success or failure is determined by whether a believer is synchronized with God’s timing, not human urgency or ambition.
Timing is defined as choosing the right moment and pace to act in order to achieve maximum results. For believers, this means adjusting to and aligning with the pre-designed plan of God, rather than forcing outcomes through personal will, emotion, or pressure.
The message emphasizes that:
Good decisions made from a position of spiritual strength (doctrine in the soul, humility, teachability) bring believers into alignment with God’s plan.
Bad decisions made from weakness (emotion, arrogance, distraction, ignorance of doctrine) put believers out of sync with God’s timing.
What people often call “luck” or “coincidence” is actually the result of being in God’s timing through doctrinal consistency.
The teaching explains that:
Bad timing is rooted in arrogance—choosing one’s own will over God’s will.
Good timing is rooted in humility—waiting on God, submitting to His authority, and trusting His plan.
God promotes believers only at the proper time, and premature promotion leads to loss, pressure, and misery rather than blessing.
What appears to be demotion, loss, or adversity may actually be preparation for promotion, as God removes what can be shaken so that eternal realities remain (Hebrews 12).
The message also stresses that:
Every believer is born and dies at the exact time appointed by God.
Complaining about one’s birth, parents, or early environment is a rejection of God’s perfect timing.
Many believers lose opportunities—or even shorten their lives—through prolonged negative volition and rejection of doctrine.
Becoming pushy, desperate, or forceful in life decisions is a clear sign of operating on human timing rather than God’s.
Ultimately, the lesson concludes that:
Life without doctrine results in continual bad timing.
Grace orientation and genuine humility leave timing in God’s hands.
There is an appointed time for everything, and peace, capacity, and blessing come only when a believer learns to wait, trust, and move according to God’s timetable, not their own.
