The Mark of Cain: What Most People Get Wrong | Dispensations Part 9
DISPENSATIONS PART 9 | THE DISPENSATION OF CONSCIENCE
In this message, we move from the Dispensation of Innocence into the Dispensation of Conscience, examining what changed after the fall of Adam and the woman and how mankind responded to the knowledge of good and evil.
We take a closer look at Cain and Abel, the first recorded murder in human history, the difference between Cain’s offering and Abel’s sacrifice, and the importance of approaching God according to His plan rather than through human works.
We also examine one of the most fascinating questions in Genesis: What was the Mark of Cain, and why did God protect Cain after he murdered his brother?
Rather than simply being a mark of condemnation, this message explores how Cain’s protection reveals something powerful about the grace, mercy, patience, and character of God. Even after terrible failure, God continued to provide Cain with the opportunity to turn to Him.
From Cain and Abel to Noah and ultimately the Apostle Paul, this study reminds us that no failure is greater than the grace of God and that salvation has always depended upon God’s provision, not human merit.
