What Changed After Noah’s Flood? | DISPENSATIONS PART 20
In DISPENSATIONS PART 20, Pastor Robert McLaughlin continues the study of the third dispensation, the Dispensation of Human Government, beginning with Noah and the world after the Flood.
God gave Noah a covenant, promises, and new responsibilities for mankind. Noah was commanded to be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth, while the rainbow was given as the sign of God’s unconditional promise that He would never again destroy the earth by a worldwide flood.
This message examines the promises of the Noahic Covenant, the sanctity of human life, the establishment of governmental authority, and the biblical principle that mankind cannot depend simply upon human conscience or human works.
Yet even with a new beginning after the Flood, mankind would once again turn away from God. Instead of simply obeying His commands, humanity would eventually unite at Babel in an attempt to accomplish its own plans apart from God.
Throughout every dispensation, one truth remains: man cannot work his way to God. Salvation has always depended upon the grace of God and faith in what God has provided.
