Getting to Know Your Friend, God
Part 5

Eternity Past, Age of Gentiles, Age of Israel, Hypostatic Union, Church Age, Tribulation, Millennium, Eternal Future

Before you begin this Bible study, if you have never believed in Jesus Christ as your Savior, John
3:16 tells us: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life.” Simply have faith that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, and you will have eternal life and be saved. If you have believed in Jesus Christ as your Savior, then 1 John 1:9 tells us: “If you confess your sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Simply privately tell God the Father your sins to be filled with God the Holy Spirit and He will teach you Bible truth. Promise Memory Verse
“Give thanks to the God of Heaven. His love endures forever.” Psalm 136:26
Hey kids, did you know that God loves our differences? It’s ok just to be you. God never wants you to pretend to be someone that you are not. It’s alright if you are kind of quiet, play soccer, and love fishing so much that you are known as the “Fish Whisperer.”
Jamie had silver spider earrings dangling from her ears, and she even had a pet tarantula. She loved spiders just as much as other people love kittens! Most people thought she was very strange, but God isn’t like the majority people at all. He loved Jamie bunches, just the way she was.
G-ma Maureen had 7 small, yappy dogs that loved to race through her house, especially when her grandkids stopped by. She had green, and purple dragons painted on both sides of her car, and often picked up her sisters so they could have all kinds of adventures together. When their fun was over, Maureen would go home and relax by reading 5 books a week. God loved her fun personality so much!
Mattie, was born with a birth defect, she had an extra thumb. It didn’t matter though because she didn’t listen to the kids who teased her. She joined a gymnastics team, and learned to fly through the air as graceful as a bird. God loves everyone, even if their body isn’t perfect.
God designs and loves colors of all kind. He created zebras with black stripes, and skunks with white stripes. The landscape is full of violet, orange, red, yellow, and pink flowers. The skies are blue, and the grass is green. God loves children, and made them in all different colors too.
God never pretends to love you, and then goes behind your back and says bad things about you. When you make mistakes, God never stops loving you. At times, He may punish you out of love, in order to help you to grow up to be a happy adult. God always forgives you even if you make the same mistake 490 times or more. This is called grace.
When your feelings get hurt, or when you feel left out, God
understands exactly how you feel. He even collects all of your tears in a bottle when you miss your friend that moved away, or if someone in your family dies.
When you learn about how much God loves you in Bible class, and believe it, God will become your best friend. He will help you to overcome all of the hurtful things that people do to you.
What people think of us doesn’t matter at all. What God thinks is really what matters. So, start your day by thanking God for His love and grace.
Thank you God for loving me!
