Getting to Know your Friend, God
Part 4

Before you begin this Bible study, if you have never believed in Jesus Christ as your Savior, John
3:16 tells us: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life.” Simply have faith that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, and you will have eternal life and be saved. If you have believed in Jesus Christ as your Savior, then 1 John 1:9 tells us: “If you confess your sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Simply privately tell God the Father your sins to be filled with God the Holy Spirit and He will teach you Bible truth. (Rebound)

Joey and his friend Len were outside hunting for worms so that they could go fishing. It was starting to get dark, when they both noticed that there was something strange going on in the spooky, old house that was near the graveyard!
Both boys couldn’t believe it when the lights went on in the house! Could it be haunted? Were their ghosts living there? Len was afraid, but Joey said, “Let’s go check it out!” As they got closer, they heard hissing, and growling. A man was singing an old country western song about how much he missed his wife in the background.
Finally, they got close enough to look in the widow, and couldn’t believe what they saw! There were two raccoons in the kitchen eating potato chips, cookies, and left over roast beef!
The house wasn’t haunted like they thought. A little old lady who was very much alive, had a broom in her hand, and was trying to shoo them out of the back door of her house. The boys had a good laugh, and ran home.
God is just, which means that He is the only fair one in the universe. When people die, God doesn’t turn them into ghosts and send them down to earth to haunt houses.
He lets everyone of us choose whether to live with Him, surrounded by His love, fairness, and happiness, or to live away from God in total darkness, pain, and misery forever.
So, you have a choice: You can believe that Jesus Christ who was perfect in every way, died on the cross to pay for all of bad things you think, do, and say or you don’t believe this. If you do believe, you will spend all of eternity with God forever after you die, and have lots of fun adventures.
God wants to be there for you every single time your feelings get hurt, or when somebody treats you unfairly. Before this happens, He wants you to tell Him the wrong things you are doing, like feeling sorry for yourself, or getting mad. That way, God the Holy Spirit will help you to remember memory verses and reasons to trust Him.
Simply do what the memory verse below says, and cast the person who treated you mean to God. Does this mean that you throw them in the river like you would a fishing pole? No way, simply tell God the Father what happened. Sometimes, you will see the one who hurt you get paid back, and sometimes not. But don’t worry, God is always fair and has this under control.
“Casting all your care upon him; for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7.
Circle the unfair things that need be casted, thrown to God.
1.Your mom asks you to clean your room.

2.Your brother kicks you in the leg, and tells your dad that you kicked him.

3.Your teacher gives you a bad grade on your book report because you didn’t read the book.

4.Your best friend has a Halloween party, and all of the girls in your class get invited except you.

Number one and three are both fair because God wants you to obey your parents, and do the assignments that your teachers give to you. Number two and four are unfair, so throw them away to God as fast as you can. He is always fair.
